Those... difficult months. (FemXRobin What If)

[I][glow=red,2,300]"ROBIN!"[/glow][/I]
Fem didn't sound that happy with him.
It wasn't that she was really mad at him, or that he'd really
done anything wrong, but she was in the middle of mood swings
that she couldn't help.
It was seven months since the future had been fixed by Sapphire,
Madness, Fem, Robin, and all others involved.
It was also now verging on seven months pregnant for Fem. And
she wasn't liking it, it had been two months since she'd lost
the balance she needed to be able to fire her rifle, and it
wasn't doing her conscience any favours. She had been having to
rely on Robin doing almost everything for her for the past few
days now, she could hardly walk now! She felt like it was slowly
eating away at her, her sanity had certainly taken a hit, and
that was low enough as it is.
Robin would be able to hear her whimpering as he approached. She
was seconds from crying, again.

Robin's ear flicked hearing Fem shout out his name, he
immediately put down what he had in his hands and got to his
feet, heading to the room in which Fem was in, flicking off the
light switch the room he had been in, which looked like some
sort of workshop.
His ears lowered hearing her whimpers, he knew what that meant
by now, she was close to tears. He hated to see her cry...
He picked up speed and ran into her room, spotting her he ran
over and took one of her hands in his, squeezing it
comfortingly, "What is it Beautiful? You called?" He asked, as
he put his other hand on her cheek and stroked it softly, his
eyes drooping as he looked at her. "Are you hungry? Do you want
me to go and cook you up something nice? Name anything and
you've got it" He said softly, as he lightly kissed her right
cheek.
Robin wasn't aware that her now inability to do much, and him
doing it all for her was contributing to the negative effects in
her mood swings, he knew she was upset that she couldn't fire
her rifle, but he couldn't exactly do that for her, her team did
know why she was off of her duties for the moment.
"Actually, now that I remember, that Baby shower with Madoka and
Natasha will be on soon, I heard Sapphire will be coming along
too, which is rather surprising. Are you ready for that
Beautiful? When the time for it comes around of course, it's not
on just yet, but it's always good to be ready".

Fem just put a finger to his lips, a slight smile on her face.
[I]"Just some kisses and cuddles from my precious. <3"[/I] was
all she said to him. Of course she knew they had that baby
shower coming up, but it didn't really help her out in her
current state, Natasha still had a way of getting around even
though she was about as Stomach deep in things as her and
Madoka... This one actually took her by surprise. Madoka and
Nibor already had one child at this point, she wasn't aware that
they were onto a second. Of course if Nibor had skipped on the
protection and 'bun'ned her 'oven' without both of them wanting
it she could always have incinerated it in its early stages.
Cruel, but as Madoka would say if asked on it, it did the job of
avoiding the unnecessary. Not like Nibor complained either.
Whether it was because of what bonuses it meant for him or just
because Madoka had no complaints was another question.
Either way Madoka would be what, a month into it all? Not to
mention she would have been there before.
This of course put Fem in a pretty 'out of it' position for the
baby shower in her mind.

Robin went cross eyed for a moment when she put a finger to his
lips, he then looked back up at her and smiled, "That, I can
do~".
He nuzzled his face against her's before carefully leading her
over to the bed in the room.
Once there he was very careful and very gentle in helping her
lie down, before lying down beside her, wrapping his arms around
her waist and cuddling her close, he smiled dreamily at Fem as
the two laid as close together as Fem's tummy would allow. He
curled up and bit, leaning down and kissing her tummy, "I can't
wait to see you kiddo, let alone hold you in my arms" He said
softly, before he rolled off of the bed, went around the other
side and laid down behind Fem, hugging her from behind and
cuddling up to her, he kissed her shoulder and snuggled his face
against hers, "Mmmmm~ Beautiful <3 I love you" He cooed to her.
He put the thoughts of the baby shower aside for now.

Fem turned into a teary mess of happiness when he started
talking to her stomach. [I]"You're so amazing Robin!"[/I] she
said through her joy tears. [I]"I don't know what I'd do without
you! <3"[/I] she wanted to turn and kiss him, but she was
already stuck on her side and Robin was at her back. Her stomach
let out a small rumble. It seemed she was hungry again. She just
let out a sigh, happy attitude gone so quickly. [I]"You do so
much for me sweetie, and what do I do for you? Next to nothing
these days. I've gotta do you [B]something[/B], I want you happy
and satisfied!"[/I] Of course she wasn't going to think that he
might just be happy with her getting through this pregnancy, but
then again Fem was mentally borderline with all that was going
on, Robin was doing the work of two mental and physical aids to
her.

Seeing her get all teary, even if they where tears of joy and
happiness, it melted his heart.
He stroked her cheek, "Beautiful I think you're the amazing one
here~" He reached across and gently rubbed her tummy with his
hand, being extra careful and extra soft with his touches,
"You're the one holding our gorgeous baby after all, you're the
one keeping the kiddo all nice and healthy inside there, and
you're the one who's been brave enough the face the hardships of
pregnancy for not just us~ but for our beautiful baby-to-be" He
was up again and moved back to lying in front of Fem, so, in his
mind he was lying beside Fem, with their child in between them.
His ears shot up hearing her stomach grumble, looks like she was
hungry, not to worry, Robin's on it!
But before he went to go get her something, he kissed her tummy
and then her jawline, then finally her lips, "Hey Honey, don't
think like that, I am happy and more then satisfied my love <3
You're already doing more then you already know sweet heart" He
kissed her forehead before rolling off of the bed and getting to
his feet, "You getting through these nine months as happy as
possible is all I need Honey, I'll be right back with something
to eat for you and the baby" He said, smiling at her as he left
the room.
He returned a short while later with a plate of buttered toast
with jam on top, "Yoooouuuur favourite~" He cooed, hoping he was
right, as he sat down on the side of the bed, placing the plate
of food down on the bedside table before helping Fem into a
sitting position beside him, once that was all said and done, he
held a slice of the toast to her mouth, "Say 'Ahhh'" He smiled.

Fem seemed to calm down a bit at Robin's words and kisses. The
duo had tackled so much together it was no wonder that Robin
knew just how to handle her. [I]"Okay."[/I] she softly said as
he wandered off. Rolling onto her back she seemed to fall into a
maze of thought.
[I]"Wow, just, wow. I never could have thought that this was how
life was going to turn out for me. Living in another dimension,
married and pregnant, three of me from other dimensions around
to support me, two timelines fixed, countless lives saved
including another dimension version of my beloved, joined a team
of mercenaries, found way to return to life if I die, found
myself a sister who works on the same team as me. What else
that's crazy can happen???"[/I]
[B]"Yoooouuuur favourite~"[/B]
[I]"Huh? Oh! ^^ "[/I] she'd been so lost in her thoughts she'd
hardly picked up him being back. She rolled herself to her side
so that she was facing him and sighed happily. [I]"You're so
precious. <3"[/I]
Fem opened her mouth wide when Robin said to say 'ahhhh'.
There and then, everything just seemed right.

"And you're so beautiful~" Robin said back to her calling him
precious, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek.
He let her open her mouth up wide before putting the small
sliced up bit of toast in her mouth for her to eat, once it was
inside her mouth he made 'chewing' motions with his own mouth
and jaw, now just imagine him doing that when feeding the baby
when it was born and starting to eat.
It wasn't that Fem didn't know how to eat properly or that Robin
didn't know this, he didn't quite know why he did it, but it
kinda came naturally.
Robin was in a great happy mood seeing as Fem was happy, there
was nothing like seeing her smile.
He held another bit of toast to her mouth, "If you want more
after this or want something else, you let me know Honey" He
smiled warmly.

Fem closed her eyes as she chewed. She was content like this.
Another rapid mood change it would seem as minutes ago she was
desperate to do something. Robin had made a good move going to
the slight bother of putting butter [B]and[/B] Jam on top of the
toast. She preferred it non-toasted, but toasted was satisfying
too.
Fem's stomach seemed to slightly jolt.
A kick from the baby!
Fem let out a slight gasp and a smile and tear came to her eye.
[I]"Robin did you see that?"[/I] she asked him. [I]"She kicked!

Robin smiled at how content his love was as she ate, he sighed
happily, his tail wrapping around Fem's two tails as the two sat
side by side.
When her stomach gave a slight jolt, he placed the plate of
toast on the bedside table, jumped off the bed and knelt down in
front of Fem, his hands on the blanket of the bed, on either
side of Fem.
"I saw! I saw!" He said excitedly, "Feisty little Squirt" He
laughed, rubbing his right cheek against Fem's tummy, which
wasn't the best idea, because he'd be getting his first kick to
the face by his own daughter, currently unborn daughter too.
"You be gentle to Mum's tummy in there, alright Kiddo?" He said
to Fem's tummy, before winking up at Fem and giving her tummy a
quick 'dog kiss', before sitting back beside Fem.
He didn't want to turn the conversation to about him, these nine
months where about Fem, but he couldn't help but wonder about
what their child would be like towards him, his ears lowered
slightly and he looked away for a few moments before his ears
went back up and he smiled back at Fem, taking one of her hands
in his, "I bet you're excited about seeing that gorgeous little
face of our baby girl, huh? I know I can't wait" He nodded
looking down at Fem's tummy and sighing happily again, before
his eyes went to Fem's, he wrapped his arms around her and
hugged her, "I love you <3" He whispered in her ear, his tone
sounded like he was actually close to tears, but his face wasn't
visible currently, as it was past her shoulder.
