Natasha sat down as well; the place was just a small
family-owned diner, but there were plenty of people there it
seemed. The feline flicked through the menu quickly, deciding on
what she wanted to eat. The moment the waitress appeared and
asked for their orders, she quickly stated "Yeah, I'll have a
bacon blitz burger, two loaded chilidogs, an order of cheesy
fries, and a strawberry frosty..." The waitress seemed to just
stand there motionlessly for a moment, but before she could
react the feline added in, "Oh, and a medium coke..." Her ear
twitched as she set the menu aside and sat expressionlessly, and
the waitress quickly wrote it all down before having a mental
sigh, then turned to Shoke. "And you, sir?"

Shoke sighed at the menu, then looked up at the waitress.
"I'll have a roast beef sandwich. With some water, please." He
handed the menu to the waitress and looked back to Natasha.
"I'm guessing you're hungry?" He asks Natasha, leaning forward,
apparently resting.

Natasha sighed; "Very much so... And if I don't have something
to eat soon, my instincts will probably kick in... That wouldn't
be pretty..." She leaned back, looking out the window to the
clouds that were moving in over the city, their white puffy look
reminding her of herself. "Let's just preface it with the phrase
'A girl's gotta eat', okay?" She didn't want to talk about her
appetite in public, or at least not around so many people. If
they were still out in the snowstorm, she might have talked
about it, but she preferred to keep her secrets secret. And
chaos knew what happened the last time she didn't get to eat...
Good thing there wasn't any evidence.

Shoke nodded, surprisingly not judging her in any way shape or
form. He began messing with one of the knives on the table, soon
beginning to play five finger fillet with the butter knife that
was left at the table. He played until the food came, getting
faster and faster with each passing second. When the food
eventually did arrive, he stopped, having not hit his fingers
once. He smiled at the waitress and took his sandwich and drink
as another few waiters began leaving Natasha her food. He slowly
took a sip of his drink and ate his sandwich quietly, like
nothing bizarre was going on whatsoever.
"Can I get the check sooner than later?" He asked one of the
waiters. While he didn't use any polite words, his tone was
polite enough, obviously not having much experience dealing with
other people in any way other than whatever he did for a
living...
"It would be very helpful."

While Shoke started on his sandwich, it seemed Natasha wasn't
going to wait to stuff her face; it was pretty obvious just how
hungry she was. The burger was gone in just a few bites, she
downed the chilidogs in seconds; seriously, was this the way she
ate on a regular basis? As she started sipping away at her coke,
she fiddled about with her wallet and pulled some money out to
help pay. It was the least she could do, in her opinion, even if
Shoke had offered to buy something for her to begin with. "I'd
tell you how nice it is to have food in my stomach again, but
I'm guessing you can already tell, huh?" She made sure to pull
out enough to add a tip; she always tipped when she ate here.

Shoke nodded, taking a sip of his water. After finishing his
sandwich and his drink, he looked at the bill. Not the cheapest
day ever. He may need to take another job after this... fun. He
got up and went to the cashier and payed for the food. He left
the money she had put down to help pay, preferring to pay for it
himself. He walked back to Natasha and sat down.
"So... what now?" He said, putting his dirty dishes on the plate
he was given.

The feline shrugged, taking some of her cash and putting it back
in her wallet; not all of it though, she still was leaving a
tip. "What is it you'd do for fun? Cause right about now, I'd
normally go and take a nap." She quickly ate up her cheesy fries
and gulped down what was left of her drink; all that she had
left was her frosty, and she was going to sip that... "Wanna
just hang out and talk?"

"...Fun? I... I don't really have time for such a thing." He
looks to the table. This was... harder than expected.
"What would you suggest?" He inquired, hoping that she wouldn't
ask about his occupation.

Natasha sipped a little of her frosty, lost in thought of what
they should do. "Well... There's a park not too far; we could go
there, chat a bit... Personally, I'd like for us to be alone
before I say much." She blushed a little; she hoped he wouldn't
think she was asking him out on a date, of all things. "I know
there are a lot of birds that nest there, too... They're really
pretty..."

Shoke nodded. This seemed to be a good enough idea... maybe he
could actually figure out where he was.
"Lead the way, Miss Natasha." He remarked, beginning to stand
up.
