After Fem, Robin and Mariah went off, Heavy returned to his
base. There he found Scout and Spy in an argument with each
other. As he wandered back by them he caught part of the
conversation.
[I]"We've gotta face it Spy! The doc ain't gonna be found!"[/I]

/>[I]Ze medic shall find us eventually."[/I]
[I]"It's been months!"[/I]
Heavy didn't like to be reminded of this.
A shotgun's [B]BANG![/B] caught their attention. Heavy held up a
large blank piece of paper.
[I]"I am man with plan!"[/I] he announced to the team.
A few hours later Heavy ran out of the base holding a stack of
posters and wearing his 'Gloves of Running Urgently', he rushed
around the city of Mobotropolis putting up one of the posters
every 2 or 3 streets.

The text reads;
I am Heavy Weapons Guy, and it is sad day. Why is day sad? Heavy
have no Medic. Medic is best friend, he keep Heavy strong, giant
and credit to team. Heavy want Medic to keep Heavy from being
dead. Can you be Medic? Come to Heavy at place written by
Engineer on notice below.

At the bottom in small print it reads;

The day after meeting Shoke and Natasha and having a small trip
to the hospital and falling asleep on Natasha on the grassy area
outside of the hospital, Sapphire had chosen to zoom around the
city for a bit, one, because she needed to stretch her legs and
get her heart beatin faster, two, because she needed to find her
best pal. Most of the city was covered in hearts she frowned,
"Ah, Valentine's day, of course" How could she forget? Who
knows, she continued her run anyhow and since she did, she
managed to come across a poster or two, she dug her heels up,
into the ground, skidding to a halt, however this hedgehog
always had trouble when stopping, and crashed into a trash can,
landing flat on her back, "Ow.." She groaned before flipping
onto her feet and looking to the poster, rubbing her back and
scrapped elbows, "Yeah, I could use a medic myself, until I
learn how to skid and stop safely" She said taking the poster
down from where it had been put, "295, Sappling Avene, Mission
Street, BLU HQ, huh?" It was something she could do, why not?
She revved up her feet and shot over.
Sapphire was there in seconds reaching 295 Sappling Avene on
Mission Street, she spotted the sign that read BLU, and headed
towards it, and since the sign said something about no red, she
hid her right hand behind her back, as she had her red bracelet
on it.
The hedgehog then held up the poster with the other hand,
"Hello?" She called out, looking to the posters coordinates,
"I'm here to help you find a medic, you sound like you really
need one" She added, not realising that she could potentially be
the medic herself.
The blue hedgehog then put her left hand on her hip, tapping her
right foot to the point that it was a blur as she waited for a
response.
Patience wasn't one of her strong points.

A light blue blur zoomed past Sapphire while she was a dark blue
one, she might even have spotted the Hedgefox saluting her as
the two went in different directions.
There was a rotating sentry gun at the entrance of the building.
It let out the occasional beep stopping it's spinning and
pointing straight at her. A tiger wearing a blue top and shorts
gave her a two fingered salute as she approached. [I]"HehHeeeey
look! Somebody good lookin wants to see me."[/I] he went cross
eyes for a second before back to normal. [I]"You... [B]did[/B]
come to see the Scout surely? I mean, best lookin guy on the
team 'n' everythin.[/I]] a puff of smoke behind the duo would
reveal a blue suited weasel behind the tiger. [I]"...Ohhhhhh.
Mon Dieu..."[/I] the weasel facepalmed. 'Scout' immediately
stood up from the sentry and raised his hands/paws. The sentry
began to lazily rotate left and right again. [I]"Sorry about dat
pally."[/I] he told Sapphire before looking back at the weasel.
[I]"She's here for dat job with pancakes."[/I]
[I]"Indeed."[/I] the weasel motioned to the hedgehog. [I]"Come
with me please."[/I] he said to Sapphire as he began to wander
into the building.

Sapphire smiled spotting the light blue Hedgefox saluting her,
it was nice to see some friendly faces but-wait was he a blur
from running fast as she was?
She froze when the sentry fun aimed at her, guns... Eck. Not her
favourite thing on the planet.
Sapphire smiled again however at yet another salute this time
from a blue topped tiger, she giggled at what he said, "Sorry
Buddy, I'm not here for Valentine's reasons~" She said, thinking
that was what he was on about. "Thanks for the compliment
though, you don't look bad yourself Tiger".
Sapphire then looked between the weasel and the tiger, as she
was motioned to follow the weasel she followed along, "Right
behind you, lead the way".

The weasel led Sapphire to a room where a coyote wearing blue
overalls, a hardhat and a pair of goggles was strumming an
acoustic guitar. [I]"Howdih Spah. Is this little miss here
interested in bein the new doc?"[/I]

There were two seats in the room. One to the left and one to the
right of him. The right one was further away from him. [I]"Have
a sit please ma'am."[/I] he put his guitar to the side. [I]"In
the team they call me the Engineer. That means I solve
problems."[/I]
'Spah' facepalmed. [I]"Engineer, could you please not go into
reminiscence of your minutes in front of a camera?"[/I]
Engineer just nodded. Spy afixed his tie slightly before turning
and going for the exit.

second to look Sapphire up and down. [I]"Well Ah suppose looks

in bein a medic for our lil ol extended family of a team?"[/I]
he asked her.
[I]"US. an extended family."[/I] Spy mumbled to himself as he
exited. [I]"We're definitely the weirdest one."[/I]

Sapphire followed along behind, looking at everything she could
as she was lead about, walking backwards into the room before
spinning back around to see the coyote playing the guitar, she
smiled hearing him strung the acoustic's strings.
But she then blinked and looked a bit puzzled, holding up a
finger to have a say, but didn't say anything until the two had
finished, Spy had exited and she had sat down in the chair by
Engineer when he had requested her too. She opened her mouth,
but shut it again seeing the coyote look her up and down, his
comment made her stick out her lower lip slightly, "Do I not
look the part or something?" She questioned, after he had
finished speaking, "Although like you said, looks shouldn't
really be something you're 'looking' for when recruiting someone
for a team" She then smiled, placing her hands in her lap, "Or
an extended family".
She then kicked her boots lightly and put a hand behind her
head, looking away, "Well actually.. I was here to try and help
in finding a medic for you guys here, but I will say, If I where
looking to be the medic, it'd be because the medic keeps
everyone safe from harm, safety first when in dangerous
situations, you know?" She looked up at the Coyote, "And family,
extended family included for sure, is very very important to
keep safe, and that's just the medic's job to do, to keep
everyone safe. And to help them back up when they need it" She
paused again, being the medic for this team didn't sound so
bad... It was the thought on the guns that held her back, but
maybe she could warm up to them enough in time, of course for
this hedgehog, there would be no 'gun loving' but there was
always the possibility to warm up the weapons.
"But... But I was just here to try and help out" She fiddled
with her hands nervously, these guys wanted a medic, not someone
trying to help them to get a medic, how would they take to this?
Her ears lowered as she looked him in the eyes, well, goggles,
before holding out a hand to him, "Please, Engineer, just call
me Sapphire, 'ma'am' is not required" She managed to smile.

Engineer chuckled and tipped his hardhat upwards. [I]"Darlin
Sapphire you sound like you have an anomaly in the corresponding
department of the certainty of your decisions."[/I] Engineer
knew he was talking complex words. [I]"That is to say, you sound
nervous about the idea of [B]being[/B] the medic rather than
findin one. Now if Ah were a bettin Texan I'd be prepared to put
a few bills on that you have a 'healin is much more beneficial
than hurtin' approach to your life."[/I] A beeping started to
sound throughout the room. [I]"Ohhhh of all the times."[/I]
Engineer stood up looking a bit worried. there was an explosion
outside. [I]"If you could excuse me for a moment please
pard'ner."[/I] he told Sapphire before rushing out of the room.
A flameproof suit wearing Mobian came wandering into the room a
second or two after Engineer had left, this new Mobian looked
around. It then walked up to Sapphire. [I]"Mph Mmph."[/I]
Sapphire wouldn't be able to make out what this Mobian was
saying, then again none of the team could. This Mobian held up a
hand. [I]"Mmph mmmmph. ^^ "[/I] With his free hand he held out a
note, it reads 'hello, high five?'

"Oh, I do?" She put a finger to her lips, "Oops" She laughed
softly.
She then nodded, "That's right, I do Mr. Engineer, that's kinda
like a philosophy for me" She smiled before her ears sprung up
at the beeping that filled the room.
Then BOOM and out went Engineer to sort things out, Sapphire
wanted to go and help but as she reached the door someone else
stood in her way, she yelped in surprise and fell back into her
chair, looking up at the fireproof mobian.
She tilted her head as they talked but couldn't be heard through
the suit, she read the note as it was held out to her, she then
smiled and stood up, high fiving his held up hand. She then
giggled afterwards and sat back down, "I'm Sapphire~ Who might
you be?" She asked, keeping that big smile on her face.

The mobian clapped letting out happy noises as Sapphire high
fived him. [I]"mph mph mph mmmph. Mmph mmph. Mmmmmph mmph mph
mph mmmmmmmmph mmmmph"[/I] his next piece of paper reads My team
call me Pyro. I spread joys to the life of everyone I meet with
my rainblower and giant lollipops. I love my job. A large
flamethrower then appeared in his hands.
A rocket flew through the building, uh oh.
[I]"Mmph!"[/I] Pyro suddenly rushed out of the room to see a
soldier in red firing rockets down the corridor. [I]"mmph
MMPH."[/I] the Red Soldier fired a rocket at Pyro, only for a
blast of compressed air to come from the Pyro's flamethrower and
send the rocket right back at him. The soldier jumped out of the
way of the rocket, quickly got back up and ran away. It seemed
that a lot of his team were obliterated. But the fact that no
parts remained was odd.
Engineer wandered back in. He had several bullet wounds from
trying to defend his sentry. He was limping, [I]"Aw hail that
stings."[/I] Engineer spotted Sapphire and held up a hand.
[I]"Perhaps now would'a be a good time for you to understand the
tools that you have t'be work'n with."[/I]
Scout came running in and saw the state of the engineer. He knew
that Sapphire was here to be the medic.

corridor to the third room on the right and booting it open.
Four fairly large black devices were hanging on the walls.
[I]"Ya just point it at someone, pull the giant handle and it
heals em. The old doc was crazy but made good stuff, hurry up
an' pick one of em yeah?"[/I]

Sapphire read the peice of paper and smiled, "It's nice to meet
you Pyro!" she looked at the flamethrower confused however,
where was the rainblower and lollipops?
Then out ran Pyro to take care of the red soldier firing rockets
this way and that, Sapphire took a step back and her ears
flattened as all the guns where fired.
She gasped and covered her eyes seeing Engineer come back in
with bullet wounds though, "But I'm not the medic!" She
whimpered, peeking out from two fingers, then in came Scout,
"I'm not the doctor! I can't help his bullet wounds!" She
shouted as she followed Scout into the other room.
She backed away and shook her head seeing the four guns though,
looking at Scout, "I am NOT holding a gun" She growled, putting
her hands on her hips, as she put on a frown and tapped her
right foot, it became a blur in seconds.
He still went on to explaining how to use them, she crossed her
arms, "If it's so simple, then why don't YOU do it then?" She
huffed angrily.
