Weapon Weilders Shopping Spree

[I](Anyone who joins, remember that this thread is being moved
to canon after it is done. Sapphire and I agreed on this.)[/I]
[I]"Finally."[/I]
It had seemed to take a while, but Fem had finally managed to
detach Robin from her for a bit, find Mariah, and had agreed to
take her on a shopping trip. Fem had been wanting to spend some
time with the future daughter since she first clicked onto who
she was. At least now she got it.
[I]"I'm sorry if I came off a bit 'over the top' in that I
almost completely DarkScale flipped when myself and your dad
first ran into you sweetheart."[/I] she told her future
daughter, she looked slightly saddened. [I]"It just tore at me
so much to see Robin holding you like that. I wanted to hug you
so badly."[/I] who knew the dead-eye sniper could get so gushy
over a teen? She did manage to raise a small smile though.
[I]"Well, the important thing now, is that you're safe with your
mother. Well, that, and we've got shopping to doooo. ^^ "[/I]
she seemed excited about this herself, whether it was because of
getting to do it, or because she had her daughter right by her
side? That was anyone's guess.

Mariah hadn't seen how her mother hand managed to detach her
father from herself, and did wonder how she managed to do it,
but saved that question for a later date.
The young Hedgedog looked to her mother with her bright blue
eyes, as she apologised to her, Mariah smiled and put a hand
behind her head, "It's alright Mum, Dad was no better himself at
the 'flipping out' part. And I expected as much, I mean, how are
you suppose to take in seeing your own future child?" She asked,
wondering the question herself, well, how where you? "I will
say, it hasn't been the first time Dad's picked me up like that,
he still does do it, only, he does it when I'm in trouble in my
time" She explained, it was a 'dog thing' though, picking up
their young by the scruff of their neck, it didn't hurt the
young, that didn't mean that Mariah enjoyed being picked up like
that though, it made her feel at least 5 or so years younger
then what she was whenever he did pick her up like that,
although her father did have a tendency to treat her like she
was younger for almost everything.
When Fem managed a small smile Mariah smiled up at her, her ears
facing forward as she listened to her mother's words. "You sound
excited Mum" She said as she looked about, "So what's first on
the shopping list?"

[I]"I guess I'm just happy to be doing something with my
daughter that the both of us wish to do."[/I] she said with a
happy shrug. [I]"You know, if I could second guess someone who's
similar to me in thought stream, I'd say you're wondering how I
managed to detach your father, he said something about going
looking for a dear friend. So all I had to do was pick you
up."[/I] she was smiling. [I]"You were wondering that weren't
you? A good mother knows how her daughter ticks you know."[/I]
she pointed out with a giggle as the two came up to the three
story mall. [I]"It's probably not as big as you remember it
Mariah my dear. But it still fits the city like a nice, warm
familiar pair of gloves. Anyway this shopping trip is to get
things that you need sweetheart. And I reckon a good spare set
of clothes is in order for that. So a good clothes shop
first."[/I] she told her, leading her inside.

Mariah looked both impressed and quite alarmed when her mother
pretty much read her thoughts on the question about how she
managed to pry her father away long enough for the two to go
shopping together.
"How did you-?" She listened to her mother's explanation, "Ah,
fair enough then Mum" She laughed, "I see, so he's looking for a
friend, he didn't mention this friend's name did he? If he did,
was it perhaps Sapphire?" She asked, before they reached the
mall.
Three stories, wowsers.
Mariah followed after her mother as she was lead inside, her two
fluffy tails trailing behind her, staying close to the lower
part of her legs. Fem would soon feel Mariah grab onto her hand
tightly, she was a teen, but crowds weren't her favourite
thing... She didn't want to loose her mother amongst the wave of
mobians.
"Alright, so clothes first, sounds great. We've gotta get
something that won't slow me down though, if that's alright with
you Mum, so probably not any dresses or fancy skirts or what
not, would be preferable" The hedgedog suggested, looking about
the mall. "I'm guessing you've got a good idea on what to get
already? You yourself wear clothes that allow you to freely
move"

[I]"Mariah I'm kind of at the point where I haven't met his
friends yet"[/I] Fem pointed out to her. [I]"I know, it's kind
of off, but uh, yes, of course on the clothes."[/I] Fem had a
smile on her face now. It wasn't like Mariah couldn't figure out
her mother if she really put her mind to it. [I]"Mostly easy
maneuverer clothes sweetheart. But you need something fancy or
two for important occasions of course."[/I] Mariah could
probably think of at least one important occasion to the family
that she'd want to see. [I]"Once we've sorted you out some
clothes though i'll need to know what else you need to get. I
mean, I don't exactly know how you're doing on other
supplies."[/I] she pointed out as they were approaching the
first of the clothing stores that they would try.

"Ah, right, right of course" Already forgetting that her mother
hadn't met those who where like family to her later in life yet,
A big Ooopsie on Mariah's part.
She en nodded at the fancy clothes part, "Right" She smiled at
her mother, she always knew what was best. Mother knows best
after all.
And it was true, Mariah already knew one event that she would
need a special outfit for.
"What else to get? Hmmmm... Is there any rocket ammo around? I
lost a little ammo when running from you and Dad that first
time" She rubbed the back of her head, looking down at her feet.
Then into view came one of the clothes stores, Mariah looked
back up and bounced slightly, pointing it out to her mother,
"There's one!"

Fem let out a giggle as she led her daughter into the shop.
[I]"UhHuh. Who's the excited one now little miss excited? :P
"[/I] she pointed out as she led her inside. [I]"If you spot
anything you like just point it out okay sweetheart?"[/I] she
told her as they wandered around. [I]"Of course, we can go by
ammogrande after this."[/I] she told her smiling.[I](AmmoGrande
being for guns and ammo.)[/I][I]"And after that we can get lunch
from the diner."[/I] Fem knew one of the American diners in the
area and was fond of it, so she figured hey why not take her
daughter along to enjoy what she enjoyed?

Mariah laughed and stuck her tongue out, "I am, I'm little miss
excited, can we go now?" She said with a slight pout, but still
wearing a smile.
Mariah seemed to 'scan' the store as her and her mother entered
it, looking around at all the clothes around, trying to see if
any really caught her eye. So far. None. She nodded to her
mother though, acknowledging that if she did spot something to
point it out, "and if you spot anything you think I might like
you can point it out to me too Mum" She smiled.
Hearing that afterwards they'd get to go to ammogrande and go
and get lunch at a diner, excited the young hedgedog. Now that
mum said that she had to admit, she wanted to rush through this
clothes thing so she could get to the other two things. But she
also needed to find something to fit her.
Mariah tugged on her mother's hand as she gently pulled her
along through the clothing store, something- well someONE caught
her eye, but disappeared from view the moment she tried to get a
better view. She frowned but focused back on trying to find an
outfit to fit, how was she suppose to get to that lunch if she
was too busy chasing down people catching her attention?
