This is Madness

Robynn had jumped off her pixelated hover board and had it fade
back into her device once she had reached the familiar Knothole.
She frowned seeing that majority of the huts where burnt, except
one which, she found upon going inside, had a double bed. She
shrugged and put down the parts of her broken board in the sound
hut.
Robynn then leant on the doorframe and looked about around
outside, checking that no one else was around before returning
to her broken board, she flopped down on the floor and picked up
the biggest broken part there, it sparked and zapped and she
sighed.
"This is going to take a while isn't it.."
Well, it is if you've got something else on your mind Robynn, or
more like someone else. She continue sly tried to push away the
thoughts but they kept coming back, no matter how hard she tried
to avoid them.
She bit her lower lip when Madness' image came up, clear as a
bell in her head. She felt like a fool for letting urges control
her like that, she loved him... But they had said not to rush
it, and she was all over him within a few hours or so of meeting
him. That's rushing it.
And she felt bad about it, she felt bad for Madness...
She quickly wiped her eyes as they fogged up from tears, stupid
tears... How was she suppose to see what she was doing with
glassy eyes? She dropped the broken hover board parts after a
few minutes of trying to work through wet eyes, it was hopeless,
she couldn't work when she couldn't see what it was she was
doing, and she needed her hands for repairing the board, not for
wiping her eyes and becoming all slippery.
She sighed with frustration and pushed the board away, looking
away, staring at the double bed, all that she could think of was
after alar had pushed the two together... How Madness was ontop
of her, and then she was ontop of him and.. And... She buried
her face in her hands, and gritted her teeth, she didn't know
anymore if getting off of him and leaving like she had was a
good idea or not.
What would have happened if she had or stayed though?
Madness might have gotten upset for her not realising she was
rushing them again, she didn't want to see him upset... Let
alone be the reason he was upset.
She got up and sat on the edge of the double bed, staring at the
floor, lightly kicking her feet.
Robynn had that feeling, she needed to talk to someone, but...
Well she had no one she could talk to..
She placed her cheeks in her hands, her elbows rested against
her knees, still staring down at the floor, breathing slow,
steady and quietly.
She took in a big deep breath and when she breathed it out, it
was so cold you could see her breath, she pressed a button on
her device, and warmer clothing formed around her, but like the
board, nothing beats the real deal, she pulled her legs up, and
hugged them, resting her chin on her knees, her ears low, her
tail curled around her.
What a way to spend Valentine's day huh?

Poof. Madness appeared in Knothole. Alt had said he would drop
him off there, and that he did.
Wandering through the grass he found the old village again. It
looked like Fem and Robin had left. [I]"Makes sense they
wouldn't stick around too long."[/I] he said quietly to himself.
What had happened back there. Robynn seemed so sure of herself
one minute and not so sure the next. What happened there, a
sharp confidence drop?
[I]"Maybe i'll be able to put my mind to it after a rest."[/I]
he thought to himself.
But upon getting closer to the hut he found that he indeed
wasn't alone around Knothole.
[I]"Fate really isn't playing my cards today..."[/I] he muttered
to himself. He wanted to turn away, but something told him that
Robynn was upset. Really upset. And when someone was upset, his
instinct to help kicked in and there was no stopping him.
[I]"I shouldn't be here. Yet here I am."[/I] he said as he stood
at the entrance to the hut. His head bowed and eyes closed.
[I]"I could sense that you seem in trouble Robynn. And I
honestly can't turn away someone who needs the help, even if the
potential for me to make it worse is there."[/I]
[I](Alongside from Alt pointing out he'd drop him off in
Knothole remember Kai's advice that I linked you to champ.[/I]
[I]"His mind is elsewhere he's expecting something desperate. Do
the obvious and confuse him!"[/I] [I]You said you were expecting
Alt in here. Sorry champ, but it makes the RP all the better to
pull an unexpected move. And this was the best card on the table
as it's the only one that can truly settle these two.)[/I]

As soon as Madness appeared in the doorway Robynn shouted out in
surprise and almost hit the roof.
But she still heard what he said, her eyes fogged up again when
he finished speaking, here he was, unable to turn away when
someone needed help, even though that someone this time was her.
She didn't deserve his help quite honestly, or so she thought.
Robynn shook her head and stared down at her boots, "You can't
make anything worse Madness... You've already made me feel
better just by being here, but I don't deserve to feel better,
so maybe I should leave you be" She got up and went to the
doorway. But he was there. He hadn't moved from the doorway. She
glanced at his eyes, but they where closed, his head bowed, she
didn't deserve to look at him! she returned to the bed, and laid
down on it, rolling over so that her back was to Madness.
She stared sadly at the wall, "Sorry for leaving you how I
did... And the actions I pulled right before I had removed
myself from the scene..." She said softly, curling up slightly.
It sure was rather cold.. Cold.
She sprang to her feet, and stared down at them, "You're not
cold are you? Do you need me to get you anything?"
(I can't believe I didn't get that ;-; )

[I]"Robynn, your actions weren't your fault. Remember, Alt
pushed you."[/I] figuring that Robynn wasn't about to just push
him away he wandered towards her. [I]"Robynn, hear me out. None
of it was your fault. Alt started us off and given that i'm a
hopeless romantic, it's me to blame for not getting up off of
you before the heat caught us both."[/I] he let out a sigh and
sat on the bed next to her. [I]"Robynn. You do amaze me you
know. I like you. And you did right not to let the urges
completely terminate you. As i've said before, if you rush into
something, it could turn into a disaster. What I never pointed
out though, and should have..."[/I] he took in a deep breath.
[I]...Was that, correct me if i'm wrong but, if the evidence to
it suggests that it could work, then it would be safe to
try."[/I] he stood up again, rubbing his forehead. [I]"I don't
know what that sounds like to you Robynn."[/I] he turned to face
her, a slight smile on his face. [I]"But trust me, you made a
right move doing what you did. You acted consciously and with
intelligence, and I could never disrespect a move like
that."[/I] he held out a hand to her. Robynn was right in
thinking that he was cold. But it was a different kind of cold,
he felt cold in his heart that he had caused her upset. And as
soon as he'd realised this, he was much more determined to do
what was necessary to get her walking out of here with a smile.
Robynn's last question was pretty much ducked because his answer
could easily damage the positivity that he was pulling out of
him.

Robynn backed up a bit when he moved towards her, to the point
that the back of her legs hit the bed and she fell back onto it.
She heard him out though, like he requested.
He seemed to understand just how she felt, referring to the
urges as 'the heat', she looked at him as he sighed and sat down
on the bed beside her, she unwrapped the warmer clothes that her
device had formed for her, a scarf and a large fluffy jacket,
and she wrapped them around Madness instead, managing a small
smile. They would be warmer on him then what they where for her,
since they had soaked up some of her body heat.
What he said afterwards made her look away in thought, he was
right as always... She watched him get up and rub his forehead,
silently listening to him all the while.
When he held his hand out to her she stared at it for a few
moments, looking up at his eyes and then back at his hand,
"Madness..." She said softly, as she pushed his hand aside and
full on hugged him, burying her face in his chest, she didn't
know what to say back to all that, he was right, he always was.
She didn't want him to go away and didn't want to leave herself
either, his presence was so warm, so welcoming... She closed her
eyes, her head under his chin, and she didn't even notice that
her left hand had came up and she was twirling a lock of his
chest fur around her index finger.
So. Very. Warm~
And on a rather cool day like this, few things where more
welcoming then his warmth, she took his hands in her own and
smiled up at him, "No hard feelings?" She smiled.

Madness put his arms around her as she hugged him. [I]"Robynn. I
could never have any hard feelings against you."[/I] he pointed
out with a ^^ face. [I]"I'd be happy to stick around you for a
while and help you out with things if it helps with the
matter?"[/I] he suggested. This move was a bit bolder for him,
as while he could be of help, he could also cause hinderances,
such as causing her feelings to flare up, or Alt could cause
another shaky situation and cause her to end up upset again. But
he wanted to make her happy for some reason, perhaps the same
reason he wanted to help her out more than ever? He put a hand
behind his head, rubbing it with a ^^' face. [I]"So apart from
what happened earlier on with us is there anything else that's
on your mind that I perhaps could be of help with?"[/I] he asked
the chocolate feminine dog holding her hands in his, after all,
he was there to try and help her. [I]"It [B]is[/B] Valentines
Day after all, and I can't have a girl I like and respect being
upset on Valentines Day."[/I]

Robynn cuddled up to him slightly when he wrapped his arms
around her, it was cold ok? He was warm. Real warm. And Fluffy
c:
His suggestion made her smile, "You can stick around if you want
to Madness~" She said, finally letting him go, and running a
hand through her hair, before she looked at her broken board on
the hut floor.
She then felt his hands on hers, she looked back up at him,
managing a small shy smile, as she glanced aside when he
mentioned Valentine's day.
"Valentine's day, yeah... What's on my mind? Mmmmm... I'm here
wondering what's on your's Mr. Madness~" She smiled, gently
squeezing his hands, before letting them go and bending down to
pick up her broken board's parts, her tail unintentionally
brushing against Madness upper leg area. Or was it?
"I've never really spent Valentine's day with someone else, well
never in respect of the holiday's purpose, and currently, it
looks like I'll be spending this one fixing my board" She said
to him, still collecting up all the broke parts of the hover
board, "... And probably the next few days afterwards as well.."

Madness seemed to lose focus for a second when she ran a hand
through her hair. She was so pretty he sometimes had a hard time
keeping his head in one piece with her.
But when her tail brushed again near in between his legs. Oh
boy.
His eyes widened and his face went entirely red at this gesture
from her.
[I]"Uhhhhhhhh."[/I] his red face all over was a dead giveaway
that she could get out of him what she was after if her tail
brushing against him was intentional.
[I]"Um. Well if you're [B]sure[/B] that you want to spend it
trying to fix that then i'd be more than willing to try and help
you out with it."[/I] he pointed out, he wasn't exactly making
any efforts to hide his blush, after all, if she couldn't see
his red face, she could probably still feel the heat, it was
cold after all.

Robynn glanced back hearing his 'uhh', seeing him so red faced,
she stood back up, and turned around, her tail going behind her
and away from Madness, "What? What's wrong?" She asked before
placing the parts she had picked up on the bed, then she was
back to bending down to pick up the rest.
"It's not that I'm sure that, that's how I want to spend this
Valentine's day, it's that I don't know what else I could do on
the day, if you have any ideas, feel free to share" She said,
smiling back at him.

Well she didn't seem aware of where she had rubbed him, so that
was a life preserver to the matter. [I]"Robynn, if you don't
know where your tail rubbed me, then it's better left that
way."[/I] he said with a ^^' face. While this gave her a bit of
an idea on what she had done to cause him to redden up so much,
it meant she didn't know the finer details. A fine compromise
perhaps? [I]"Hey, i'll be back in a few seconds okay?"[/I] he
suddenly dashed out of the hut and ran through the forest
looking for something. Soon enough he had found it and went
rushing back.
He trotted in with his hands behind his back. [I]"I had an idea
of giving you something that I thought might help how this day
has gone for you."[/I] he said, he then revealed what had been
in his hands, a red rose, which he held out to her. His cheeks
were still red from earlier so she wouldn't really be able to
tell if getting her the rose was making him blush any more than
he already was.
