"Mmmmmm!~" Robin growled happily, his eyes drooping shut again
as he was pulled into a longer lasting kiss. The taste of her
lips and the feel of them against his... It made him melt on
this inside out.
When Fem perked up and looked away in the direction of Mariah,
Robin's eyes slowly opened, a dreamy and rather goofy smile on
his face, love struck, just like Fem had been.
When she announced that someone was spying on them he was about
to pull her back into the kiss and say, 'Oh let 'em look' but
soon enough Mariah made a run for it and Fem took after her, but
not before asking him if he could help her catch the kid.
He went after her without question, right now, he'd do anything
she wanted him to quite honesty.
This wild dog had done his fair share of running and chasing,
hiding and duck and weaving, it'd been a while and he'd be a
little rusty, but that feeling he got, that want to help Fem
gave him the push he needed.
And luckily the suit wasn't hard to move in either.
The chase was on!
Robin tried to lock his eyes onto Mariah, that usually helped
him to go faster, if he had his eyes on what it was he was
aiming to reach.
He managed to catch a glimpse of her light chocolate brown fur
as she was heading for another street to escape the two. He
picked up the pace, he had no Sonic in his blood, but he sure
was fast for someone who didn't rush about. Or least didn't seem
to rush about as of far.
He blinked for a moment as he gave chase, taking in his
surroundings, the street... Hey! He'd been here before! This was
one of the main streets he stuck to when he was a street kid,
kinda like a home street in a sense, he sighed silently, no time
to have flashbacks and the like, he had to use this to his
advantage, "Keep chase, I've got a short cut, we'll cut her off,
make sure she turns right!" He shouted out to Fem before he
skidded and ran down an alley to his right, disappearing into
the darkness, he hoped it was the same as it was in his time,
because heck if there was a wall at the end and no left turn for
him, there goes that plan out the window and he'd have to head
back and try to find Fem again.
He put his head down and pushed more, his heart pounding as his
feet did against the ground, but he was actually rather quiet as
he ran. Must've came from when he was a street kid again?
He sighed with relief, there was his left turn, now he just had
to be there as Fem and Mariah ran around the corner and took a
right, and if Mariah didn't then he could attempt to snatch her
up as she ran past, he kinda hoped she'd turn right into the
alley though, because then she'd run herself into Robin with Fem
right behind her.
He reached the end of the alley way and waited in he shadows for
the two to show.

You came to know some of the tricks to expect when you saw them
happen often, Mariah was more than ready for Robin's 'shortcut'
sneak attack.
As he'd said. They were the same as in the future.
With the distance between herself and Fem the sniper had a hard
time getting a proper look at her.
[B]"Time for a Rocket Jump Waltz methinks."[/B]
As they came towards the corner, Mariah pulled out a rocket
launcher, aimed it downwards, closing her eyes, and BOOM. The
resulting impact caused her to fly upwards and over the dog when
he tried to grab her. Robin could potentially get an okay look
at her as she flew overhead.
Fem was amazed. She had seen several hundred rocket jumps before
courtesy of her mercenary teammate Soldier, but A, this wasn't
Soldier, and B, she looked completely unharmed by the explosion.
[I]"Rocket jumping without getting hurt eh? Looks like we've got
ourself a show off."[/I] Fem said to herself skidding to a halt
by Robin as she watched the running figure come flying back down
to the ground not too far away, heading deeper into the city.
[I]"Not how I planned for today to twist. Can you follow her
from the ground Robin my sweet?"[/I] Fem asked him. [I]"I have
my own methods of chasing down those who cause trouble and
destruction."[/I] and after a quick kiss to him, Fem jumped onto
a dumpster, followed by leaping onto and swinging from a pole
sticking out of a building, upwards and upwards up she went
using various platforms and whatnot until she was on the roof of
the building and running in the direction that Mariah had gone
on the ground.

Robin almost fell over forwards when he tried to grab Mariah and
she shot into the air, making him miss, however what he didn't
miss was catching a better look of her, his eyes went wide, and
he stumbled about before regaining his balance a few seconds
later, that's when Fem appeared beside him.
He looked to Fem and nodded with a nervous smile, his thoughts
on what he had seen of Mariah would have to wait, if they could
catch her then he could confirm any questions he had on her
after all.
"Stay safe~" He said, as he saw Fem shoot up the building before
he took off himself, heading after Mariah from the ground like
Fem had asked him to do.
The kiss she had given him before she was up he building gave
him an adrenaline rush, which he needed, he was puffing and
panting like dog after hours of fetching a ball. But that kiss
got him up and running.
