Rules

Rules are put in place to keep everyone as safe and happy as
possible, please do not break or breach the rules set down for
everyone to follow. EVERYONE is set to follow the rules, and
ANYONE can be punished for breaking them, friend or not of the
admin aside, if you're doing the wrong thing, you will be
getting told off.
The Warning and Banning system will work differently for the
Shoutbox and Forum itself, but both will contain appropriate
punishments for rule breaches and inappropriate behaviours
displayed in the shoutbox.
Shoutbox rules:
- [b]Respect everyone else in the shoutbox's opinions, feelings
and ideas, if there is something you don't agree with or like
depending on the subject either ignore the shoutbox or if the
subject is touchy contact a Mod and the Admin after letting the
people in the Shoutbox know that it's something you don't feel
comfortable reading- Kepping in mind everyone has the right to
speak to each other as well as respect those around them.
- Talk on racism, sexism, ect. Will not be tolerated whatsoever
- Spamming is not allowed either. Spamming is constantly sending
the same shout over and over again in case you are unaware
- Advertising will also not be permitted in the Shoutbox or on
the site in general, sharing videos and pictures is fine, but if
you constantly send the same video or picture over and over
again,not will be classed as both spamming and advertisement.
Other forums too should not consist within this fourm unless
absolutely necessary
Shoutbox Punishments:
The shoutbox is the nifty little gadget installed at the bottom
of the forum page, which can be accessed by both members and
guests. When using the shoutbox it is advised to set up a
Shoutbox account with the name of your character (or one of your
characters) so we know who we are chatting to. You can also just
type up a name in the empty bar to the left and then hit 'Save'
and you'll be displayed with that name as a guest name.
While using the shoutbox the same standard rules apply when
speaking to other members, show respect for other people's
thoughts and opinions and do NOT force your own upon anyone
else. EVERYONE has the right to their own opinion, not just you.
Forcing your own opinion onto other people when they have either
requested that you stop or have made it clear that they are
uncomfortable with this, WILL get you in trouble, and 'I was
just joking' is NOT a valid excuse, what you may find funny,
others might not, THINK before you say things please. Keep in
mind that Administrators and Moderators can view IP Addresses of
Shoutbox users, so pretending to be someone else after you've
been in trouble isn't going to help.
On standard the shoutbox punishment will go:
- An in-shoutbox warning- Either at the time of the situation or
afterwards, depending on the time, you'll receive an in-shoutbox
warning, which is most likely to contain; What it is you did
wrong, a request that you apologise to all whom where harmed, a
request to think on your actions and words. PM's can be sent
instead if the person accused is not online when an admin or mod
is to sort out the situation.
- PM warning- A formal Personal message warning will be sent to
you, explaining the situation and what it is that's believed you
to do about the situation (e.g. Apologise) You will also be
added to the 'Watched list' and possibly earn negative points to
your name in the Moderation Center, too many negative points and
you'll be off the forum for good.
- Second PM Warning- Another message will be issued and more
negative strikes will be earnt against your name, possible
muting for a certain amount of time from the shoutbox can also
be issued depending on other factors.
- Shoutbox Ban- Your Shoutbox account will be deleted from the
shoutbox and your IP banned, if you try to use another IP to
chat in the shoutbox, that will also be banned, you are not to
speak in the shoutbox once banned, but you are able to ask for
another try in the shoutbox after your situation has been
completely sorted, you have formally apologised to everyone
effected and have spent some time off of the shoutbox.
(Depending on the issue these rules and punishments can be
skipped or modified by Admins and Mods to fit the situation)
Forum rules:
- Speed- Absolutley no one is faster then Sonic.
- Canon characters are to be claimed via the Character claims
list

/>if an account for a canon character is made without first
being
approved by the Admin or both Admin and Mod (Not just by the
mod) The account will be deleted and you will not be able to
have that canon character.
- No forced killing or permanat harm to other characters! this
includes mentally scarring them, if it is an action that will
permanently scar a character you cannot do it without the
character's writers consent. This includes love wise, mating a
character with another is a permanent thing that cannot be done
without consent, that is considered rape and is not tolerated
either.
- No forced ships, ships tend to happen naturally and can only
happen if both writers of either character are happy with the
ship.
- Mature and Gore are to be watered down, which if you need help
on you can ask either a Mod or Admin, Mature RP's can take place
over PM's IF both RPer's are comfortable. If you at any time do
not feel comfortable, please contact the Mod and Admin!
- Over powered characters are not accepted here as well as Mary
sues and Recolours and Rip offs. You all know what they are.
Just don't do it
- Do not shape other characters and the forum world to simple
suit yourself, this is a shared world, it's not all based around
you and your characters, it's about everyone
- Respect all other members and their characters, if you have a
problem of any kind with another person's character contact the
Admin or Admin and Mod explaining the problem please
- Stealing or claiming other character's and people's ideas and
designs as well as stories is an absolute no go
- Do NOT share this site with ANYONE or ANYWHERE whatsoever.
You'll find yourself removed from the site permanently if you do
from now on.
- Puppeting is absolutely not allowed (if permission was given
before hand however and the permission is clearly shown then it
is okay) You RP your characters and yours alone, you do not
control other characters including NPC's RPed by someone else
Forum Punishments:

*ALSO: Calm down on the fan kids/future characters a bit please
guys, I know I have them myself and all, don't use that against
me, it takes the special feeling away from other characters if
there are too many of the same kind yanno? Be creative and do
something different, the forums kinda filling up with all the
alternate dimensions and alternate dimension future characters.
It's fun I know. But maybe if the ships not canon, don't include
a fanchild for them here?? Think of something new, not everyone
is from the future and it's just kinda boring if everyone is
