A Moderator's Old Story - 'Matticus Madness' - Part 1

[I]"Righto dude. There's no point in muckin about."[/I]
[I]Grohhhh, Alt's these days... Are you sure this is the
right-[/I] [I]"Dude, just do the first chapter and see if your
beau tries to rip you apart or is too ticked off to hold her end
of the bargain."[/I] [I]"Alter."[/I] [I]"Alright I can take a
hint! Alright forget the section, just focus on putting out the
story. 2010, right?"[/I] [I]2010. It really has been a long time
since I made this thing, I think I finished it in '11 though? I
dunno. Anyway, it's a thing, a story I made way back then. I
don't know [B]why[/B] I made it, but I did. My paper copy turned
up during recent 'clean up' events and-[/I] [I]"Yeah yeah yeah
and he had nothing on any of us when he made this thing and was
chasing two of the three girls that premier in this story and
some of the traits in characters may be identifiable in us
and... was it all just girls you chased or did you get anywhere
with them... DAAAAH JUST START IT!"[/I]
It all started about 3 Months ago. I was at the beach with my
then best friend Jim. It was a very good day. An almost
cloudless sky. The sea sparkling blue, Seagulls screeched
overhead like alarms, the day was almost was almost perfect but
I didn't feel the same. Loneliness. The feeling I was missing
part of me, I couldn't describe it at the time but soon I would
realise it was no big problem.
I first saw her when I went to the Ice Cream queue, Black Hair,
Blue Eyes and a face so beautiful she seemed like a
hallucination for a second, I blinked and in that split second
she must have caught my eye because for a split second I saw she
had been looking at me and her cheeks had turned slightly red,
now she was at the front of the queue. I watched where she
headed to after she got her Ice Cream, she had hired a sun
lounger surprisingly close to where I was. I watched as she lay
down on the sun lounger and started reading a book.
Jim had a knowing look on his face as I returned to where we had
set up. "you take your time getting the Ice Creams and you're
looking at one of the girls over there like mad", I knew what
was coming; "somebody's in love", I can't say I didn't see it
coming. "You can talk" I replied. "If Molly wasn't crazy for you
where would you be?" Jim's grin suddenly turned into a frown; he
hated it when Molly was used against him.
As if on cue the girl I had fell in love with came over, Jim
showed friendship loyalty by heading over to Molly who's family
had arrived a few minutes ago. I was no good at talking so
thankfully she started it. "Your friend certainly is good at
timing when to move" she said. "I think it's because his
girlfriend just arrived" I replied pointing over to him who was
already in a make out with Molly. "Either way it's better for
us" she said, I was barely able to believe I had her talking to
me this quickly, though common sense must have temporarily
kicked in, "My name's Rafaella" she said holding out her hand.
"Matthew" I said in reply, kissing her hand like they sometimes
do in movies. Conscience must have went elsewhere as the look on
her face said it all, I was so happy to reply with "and I love
you too" and her face could have lit up the whole beach, the
next face she made said exactly what I hoped to hear, "Kiss Me"
and I was happy to oblige. Her breath was a mix of Mint, Orange
and Ice, what a coincidence, a hot girl with cold breath.
Too early, that was when she had to go. She wrote down her home
address on a piece of paper and gave it to me, "Don't forget to
come and see me Gorgeous" she said giving me a kiss on the cheek
before heading away, After she had gone the looks on the faces
of about half of the boys were looking at me with hatred clearly
displayed, I couldn't blame them really, Rafaella was that hot!
The sound of Jim shouting "Time to go" snapped me back to my
senses. He had his arm around Molly's shoulders and I couldn't
help wondering what these two got up to when no-one was looking,
not that I cared much, Now I had to focus on making sure
Rafaella didn't lose her interest in me. The possibility that
Jim may try for Rafaella came to mind considering he had left
about half of the girls at the school crying from being dumped
by him one time or another, but what I never suspected was what
would actually happen, that my long time best friend would be
the one to cause the biggest downfall of my life, I would have
to wait 2 weeks before the catastrophe would begin but when it
happened it ruined everything.
