[Anti-Mobius Royal Castle] reuniting the Foxilies

[I](Yes that's a title ripping off a GTA San Andreas mission
name, so what guys? :P )[/I]
The portal dropped the duo of the guard and Tails in a long
hallway with several doors on each side. Banners hung on the
walls, guards and other servants passed by, the guards saluting
the duo and a servant passing by the halls offering Tails a
small tub of mint ice cream as they walked. A few sets of eyes
turned to Tails and murmurs occurred, but the guard would turn
to them and they would hurry on their way.
[glow=red,2,300][I]"Your arrival and presence has been greatly
anticipated for months since our current queen took her position
Mr Prower."[/I][/glow] the guard explained as they continued
through a few corridors. A few guards and servants bowed as they
continued on even. [glow=red,2,300][I]"The behaviour of my
cohorts may seem confusing and a little unnerving. But when you
see who requested your presence here, Tails, it will all fall
into place."[/I] the duo soon would reach a much larger set of
red and dark blue double doors, at this point, the guard
stopped. [glow=red,2,300][I]"Her highness' throne room lies
behind these doors Mr Prower, you must enter alone. Enter and
approach the throne."[/I] the guard told him as he stepped back
and saluted the fox.

Tails wobbled a bit after being transported through the portal,
shaking his head he regained his balance before looking around,
there where a lot of doors, banners here and there, it was nice
to look at. Not quite what he was expecting from Anti-Möbius but
hey. What a pleasant surprise right?
Tails followed beside the guard with a smile, giving small waves
to everyone as they passed, servants, guards, everyone deserved
a smile.
His eyes lit up at being offered mint ice cream, "Oh yes please!
Mint's my favourite!-" This made him take a pause, but he did
take a few mouthfuls of the frozen treat and thanked the
servant.
He was a bit unnerved by all the eyes on him and all the murmurs
though, maybe it was just weird having someone who formally
fighter against them before inside their royal palace?
He looked to the guard escorting him as he spoke and then
nodded, "Oh, okay, so he murmurs are good ones then?" He asked,
his smile turning a bit nervous, he felt a bit out of place to
be honest.
Tails looked up at the double doors when they reached them but
looked back noticing the guard had stopped, "Alone?" He gave a
light gulp, it sounded a bit like a trap...
"Um. Okay. Thanks for leading me here" He said, managing a smile
to the guard before turning to the doors and hesitantly opening
them after taking in a breath, and, like the guard had
instructed approached the throne. He left the doors opened
behind him though, not that they couldn't be closed by someone
else however.
As he approached the throne he fixed his pilot goggles atop his
head and his belt and shoulder strap, pulling his white gloves
up a little more before he bowed in front of the throne, keeping
his head down for the most part. He en got down on one knee and
looked up, "Your Majesty? Queen of Anti-Möbius? Whichever you
prefer Madam, Uh, Miles 'Tails' Prower here, I was sent in by
one of your guards. You wanted to see me?".

As Tails travelled through the throne room, a voice could be
heard echoing through the room. Alt's to be precise.
[I]"It's okay mum. One day we won't have to hide. I'll put
Scourge down myself."[/I]
[I]"This isn't right! None of it is! That cottage. We've grown
close there! It can't have been burned down!"[/I]
[I]"Mum. It's our time soon. I've struck a deal with this Mafia
group, they're giving me the details to access a gem which will
give me aptle power to take Scourge down. I've also met this
girl, Madoka, she understands me, knows how I tick, may even be
a girl I can focus my drive through and settle down."[/I]
[I]"So this guy Tails. You think he might still be in love with
you? We can find him, bring him to us, and you can be happy as
you're supposed to be."[/I]
The voice got louder as Tails got closer to the rotated throne.
[I]"It's over mum. He's done. He fell from the top of the
castle. Scourge is dead. We can take the throne you deserve to
have."[/I]
The room would fall silent for about 60 seconds, leaving aptle
time for Tails' bit. In which the voice came back again.
[I]"We're recording? Right... Tails. Prower. Miles. Whichever.
You listening? You're probably freaked out, but we'll meet
somewhere down the line rather than you just hearing me
recorded, but if you're bowed or on one knee or something
similar at this point, stand up properly could you?"[/I]
And when Tails did stand up... [I]"SURPRISE!"[/I] Tails would
feel someone glomp him from behind, laughing, the voice and
laugh possibly being all too familiar to him. Getting up off of
him straight after the glomp and her laughing had stopped, she
held out a hand to help him up, still smiling.
[I]"It's been a long time big guy."[/I]

The voice recordings did indeed confuse the two failed fox, but
that aside, he still listened to what the voice had to say. When
it came to the part of the voice talking on him to what sounded
to be his mother, Tails went a bit red. The queen... She
couldn't be... No.
He wasn't going to see her again.
She was gone forever.
His fur stood on end when the recorded voice then addressed him
entirely but he did as instructed and stood up properly, only to
be glomped back down to the floor from behind.
His eyes went wide hearing the 'surprise' from his glomper.
He knew that voice.
Oh he knew it all too well.
It was soothing to have his ears filled with her voice once
again but he couldn't help feel washed over with dread and fear.
Yet. She was laughing, she was happy to see him again, this was
too good to be true.
Tails rolled onto his back after she had gotten up off of him
and he looked up at the one person his heart went to the moment
he first saw her.
His heart skipped a beat for, after so many years, he finally
got to lay his eyes on her once more and she was just as
beautiful if not more. He felt his eyelids drooping but he gave
his head a shake to refocus and then smiled slightly as he took
Fiona's helping hand outstretched to him.
On his feet once more he gawked at her, not believing his eyes
at the moment, "I... I.... I thought.... Y...You'd... I..." He
couldn't manage a full sentence yet but his eyes said enough.
He nodded to Fiona's 'it's been a long time', because it had
been.
The yellow fox then held out his hand and gently touched Fiona's
cheek, like a stroke, feeling as though that if he did she might
disappear like she had all those years ago. But. She didn't, she
was real and she was right there. Tails blinked and smiled
softly, his voice just as soft as his smile "You're even more
beautiful then what I remembered"

Fiona's eyes closed as Tails put a hand on her cheek, her smile
still there as he did so. After a few seconds she reopened her
eyes and put a hand on his, gently pulling it off of her cheek.
[I]"Try and save your charms for if we have a date."[/I] she
told him before winking, then turning away and walking to the
throne, turning it to reveal a tape recorder and player. [I]"As
you can see and as you heard, T, a lot of things have changed
since you begged me not to go with Scourge..."[/I] the fox
placed the recorder/player on a table at the side of the room
before wandering back over to the throne and Tails. [I]"To put
it into one word, living."[/I] she said as she sat herself on
the throne. [I]"Pregnancy, raising my little boy in hiding as
Scourge wants both of us dead, coming back to being royalty
after my boy goes and offs his own father."[/I] Fiona shook her
head slightly, her smile gone. [I]"Scourge was a mistake. You
were right..."[/I] she seemed to suddenly be a bit sad for a few
seconds before closing her eyes and holding up a hand.
[I]"Forget about him, my boy Madness is the only good thing to
come out of him."[/I] a slight smile came back to her as she
asked the next thing, reopening her eyes. [I]"So tell me Tails.
What's your preferred way of catching up? Over ice creams? In a
workshop? Name it, we can do it. I don't have anything left
going on today that I can't do tomorrow."[/I]

Her wink and quiet comment made Tails go pink "Date? Wha- I-" He
broke off and just gave a light shrug before following after
Fiona to the throne.
He let her speak as she sat down in her throne, when she
finished the part on that her son was the only good thing to
come out of Scourge he finally began to speak up, "It must've
been very difficult Fi, I'm sorry about that. I.. I should've
came and helped, I knew Scourge was trouble but.. But as soon as
you disappeared through the warp ring, with him... I..." It was
painful to think back to that time. He'd spent such a long time
trying to lock away those times in his mind and now he had to
unlock them again.
He paused, looking down at the floor, "I thought I'd never get
to see you again, you know that?" He asked her, as she reopened
her eyes, capturing him in her brilliant blues, he stared,
getting lost in her beautiful eyes, it took until she blinked
for him to look away and refocus once more.
Her next part hit him like a wave. This was all so sudden, he
didn't know what to say to her more then half of the time.
"Well, I did get offered a really good little tub of mint ice
cream on my way in and that was mouth wateringly good, I must
say" He admitted, putting a hand to his chin a smile on his
face, "Ice cream's always good, I just finished up a new
invention too actually. Why don't we go for stroll around here?
Around the palace, anywhere you might want to show me, it is
your planet now after all and I've rarely been here. And why
not, on top of that, have ice cream as we walk and talk? How's
that sound Your Majesty?" He asked with a goofy smile, giving
her a bow.
