Natasha was fuming as he heard this. Her stomach growled even
louder, and she grabbed Shoke's arm as he limped away. "You
started this... Now you explain yourself... Or I'm going to do
something you're really not going to like." A click could be
heard from her jaw, which seemed to slump slightly; it had
actually been unhinged, and if Shoke didn't give a good excuse,
he was going to regret having interrupted Natasha's lunch time
with Sapphire. "Now spit it out!" she yelled with a slur, unable
to speak entirely properly with her jaw out of place. To make
sure he knew she meant business, she even opened her mouth to
show that she could easily swallow him whole with the primal
instincts her hunger was giving her, which was exactly what she
would do if he started wasting her time...

Shoke was unimpressed with her threatening. In fact, it seemed
to only make him madder.
"Explain myself?! EXPLAIN MYSELF?! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SIT ON
THAT HIGH HORSE! YOU CAN DO THAT AFTER YOU GET A JOB THAT I HAVE
TO DO! NOW LEAVE ME THE !@#$ ALONE!" Shoke yelled, tearing his
arm away from Natasha and storming off without stopping at all.

Sapphire looked at Natasha when she arrived, what she said made
her ears flattened, even though it was aimed at Shoke and not
her, then Shoke yelled back.
They where both really loud.
She took the time in which the other two spend shouting to clear
her thoughts and mind on the matter, giving it a look from
Shoke's point of view.
Then Natasha grabbed Shoke as he tried to walk away and with a
bit more shouting he was trying to go again, but is time she was
the one to act, following after him like a puppy following it's
mother, she'd heard briefly of what he'd mumbled... She zipped
in front of him, holding up her hands, "Hang on, Please.." She
said in a soft tone, "Did you say something about this
timeline?" She tilted her head at him, noticing that he had a
limp, before Shoke could react she'd scooped him up in her arms,
"Are you from another timeline too?" She asked softly, looking
at he lynx, before she looked to Natasha, "Give me a minute
Natasha, I'll be right with you, alright?" She smiled, "and I'm
sorry about what happened to the part... It..It is kinda my
fault too..." She said looking down, before taking a few steps
away and setting Shoke down, "How can I help you with your leg?
I got it busted by making you have to run like that, now I'm
gonna fix it" She said, not baring to look the lynx in the eyes.
It was her fault.
His limp, her fault.
The burnt park, her fault.
Natasha not being able to have a nice lunch in the park, her
fault
His busted computer, her fault.
She wanted to make things right, it's best to start off with one
problem at a time.
"I.. I'm sorry about what I did.... I can't believe I've been so
stupid..." she sighed, "I understand if you don't want me to
help... Why would you even want to see me after the stunt I just
pulled?... But.. I.. I'd like to help you out, for what I
did..."

Shoke sighed. The missy was being a lot more sensible... and...
heard... him... mention... timeline. Oh dear.
"All right then. Lets start with the easiest. You didn't cause
my limp by making me over exert my body like that. My limp was
caused by my super speed, but wasn't caused by this use. And if
you want to hear the story, lets just say not trusting your own
math is very bad for inventing. Done. You can stop feeling sorry
for yourself. Plus, it's barely noticeable, only after I use
said super speed. And my laptop? Don't worry, I've got six more
at home that all are hyperlinked. I didn't lose anything
important. Third, the park will fix itself, since it's just the
outside of the trees that were burned. Finally, if my apology
REALLY means that much to you two, I'll take you both out to
lunch wherever you want, and I'll pay. Alright?" Shoke wasn't
above accepting his own mistakes. But, there was a fifth thing,
and Shoke leaned in to Sapphire to tell her without Natasha
hearing.
"And please just forget about what I said about other timelines
alright? Kaythanks." Shoke then walked over to his husk of a
laptop and put it in his still soaked carrying bag, but not
before leaving a note on the ground for the authorities that
reads "You owe me. Signed, The Repairman".
"Now then, are you all right with that?"

She shook her head, "You weren't limping back at the diner, you
wouldn't of had to activate that running thingie, if I hadn't of
ran after you.. Or at least it wouldn't of become noticeable if
I hadn't of gotten you to use it.." She said, a it confused on
that one.
She then shook her head again, rolling her eyes with a huff,
"I'm still going to feel bad about what I did silly, let me do
something at least to make you feel better! If I can't fix
what's happened with that limp of yours, let me make you 'feel'
better" She said, putting her right hand over the spot where his
heart would be, and finally, managing to look at him and shoot
him a smile.
"I don't know about Natasha, but you don't need to apologise to
me or take me out to lunch, ok? I'm just grateful that your not
yelling at me for my wrong doings" She said, putting a hand
behind her head.
Then he leaned in closer to her, and she felt her cheeks go
warm, which for anyone who looked, was actually them going red,
that feeling in her stomach was getting worse and worse, and it
gave her a kick when he leaned closer to her. She ignored all
this however, listening to what he said, she looked to him when
he finished, "Oh! I wanted to talk to you more on that... If..
If you didn't mind... But it seems like you do... So I'll just..
Just drop it.." She said softly, looking away as he walked away
from her.
With his last question she didn't nod, or shake her head, "I'm
alright with you taking Natasha to lunch to solve out the
shoutings, but I can't accept going along to that, at least not
as a way of you apologising, and I would be paying for myself,
You don't owe me anything, you don't have to apologise, I've
gotta make it up to you, regardless if your laptop was important
or not, or if your limp wasn't directly my fault, My actions
where way out of line, if either of us is getting lunch for the
other, it's me getting lunch for you" She said, putting her
hands on her hips as she walked back to Natasha, "You got that
Lynxy boy? You think of what it is you want me to do for you in
repayment, and you can consider it done"

Hearing all the talk of apologies, Natasha sighed and clicked
her jaw back into place before picking her food up and bringing
it over. She sat down and ate quietly, the two chilidogs only
lasting a couple of bites before all that was left was her
drink, which she guzzled down. She covered her mouth and let out
a quiet belch, gathering the trash in the bag and simply looking
down at the ground with a dejected huff. How she let herself
break down like that, she didn't know, but the park would be
fine and everything else was negligible... "I should be saying
sorry too... I don't know why I let myself get like that..." She
stifled a sniffle and some tears as she closed her eyes.

Shoke sighed and looked at the blue hedgehog, slightly
irritated.
"Alright, you want to know what you can do to apologize to me?
Let me buy you lunch. Also you can never call me "lynxy boy"
ever again. I have a name, after all." Shoke then looked over to
the other lynx and sighed as well.
"Look, it doesn't matter. It's done and overwith, you don't have
to worry about apologizing. After all, you had nothing to do
with this." He said, in a weird, almost consoling way.

Sapphire just shot him a smile, hands still on her hips as he
looked a bit annoyed at her.
She then crossed her arms at his next comment, smart cookie...
"It's not that I can't ever call you that again, it's that you
don't want me to, 'Lynxy Boy'" She said, her eyes locking on the
lynx's, her smile growing into a grin.
She then stuck her tongue out and shook her head, "What's your
name then? I never quite caught it, so I had to improvise" She
shrugged.
She then turned back to the lunch part, she pointed her thumb to
her chest, "The only time I'll allow you to buy me lunch is if
we go out on a date or something, think of something else I
could do for you, use that big head of yours".
She then turned to Natasha and pulled her up, giving her a quick
hug, "Hey, 'Tasha, don't be sad, it's alright, like Uhh.. The
guy.. Said, you weren't a part of this, and I thank you for
sticking up for me" She smiled at the cat.

"My name is Shoke. I'm the repairman." He gave a slight bow.
"Now then, if you MUST pay for yourself, then fine. Not like I
couldn't pay for you." Shoke shook his head, sighing.
"Oh well. So tell me, where do you want to go?" Shoke asked.

"What if we just start over fresh? I'd rather that than making
you pay for my food; you probably wouldn't have any money left
afterwards..." Her tail flicked about a little bit as she stood
and looked to the lynx with her arm extended outwards for a
handshake. "My name's Natasha." She reached over and hugged
Sapphire with her other arm to thank her back for thanking her,
if that made any sense. "How's about we just have a chat over
some coffee or tea? I know a nice cafe we could go to... and I
could get some more food, too... I'm still starving..."
