A Windy Day at the Park

After hitting mach 1, Shoke's super speed shortly petered out,
eventually stopping when he reaching the park.
"Fwew... I finally managed to lose her... jeez... I can't
believe that someone OTHER then that Sonic guy has super speed
like that..." Shoke mumbled to himself, panting heavily. He
takes a quick sip of his coffee and starts eating some more
doughnuts. He pulls a laptop out from a carrying bag and sits
down underneath a tree, beginning to type up some code. Also
began taking a small memory drive out of his backpack. Also
began listening to some music on his headphones.
"I'm reaching my threshold... my threshold..." He quietly sung
to himself.

Sapphire skidded to a stop upon reaching the park, she instantly
began looking around for a spot for her and Natasha to sit like
she said she would to Natasha before shooting off.
'Tree spot, Tree spot, Sunny Grass spot, by the pond,
playground, too many people, Lynx boy taken Tree spot, another
Tree spot-Wait'.
She looked back a spot, there he was!
She wasn't going to loose him this time!
Sapphire looked around, before she snuck over to the lynx,
staying out of his view, which easier then what she thought it
was going to be, since he was focused on his laptop and had
headphones on.
Soon she was standing in front of him as he sat underneath the
tree, her Chilidog in her left hand and her drink in her right,
"You look tired with all that panting, did I wear you out?" She
asked, putting on a pout, as she tilted her right hand and the
cup with her left over drink, which spilt put all over his
laptop and pants, "Oops!~" She giggled as she emptied the cup,
"Looks like we're equal now"

Nearly the second the drink splattered on his laptop, it
exploded into flames. Shoke, panicking, flings the laptop off of
him... into a tree. Where the tree caught on fire. And the fire
began spreading all over the place.
"OH SHIZE! LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" Shoke yelled, hyper panicked
as the fire began spreading all over the park like a wildfire.
Shoke, began running to the pond, trying to fill his bag with
water to try and fix it.
"DON'T JUST STAND THERE! HELP ME!" He yelled at Sapphire,
throwing the bag filled with water on the swiftly spreading
flames whilst simultaneously trying to herd away as many
civilians as he can.

Sapphire jumped back, surprised as the laptop exploded into
flames, then he just had to flip it into a tree... "OH WHAT I'VE
DONE!?" She shouted back as she started to use her cup as a
container for the water, running back and forth from the pond to
the fire, people out of the park, pond to the fire, people out
of the park.
"THIS WOULDN'T OF HAPPENED IF YOU HAD OF APOLOGISED PROPERLY IN
THE FIRST PLACE!" She shouted at the lynx, pointing at him as
she shot him a look as she was halfway through pouring water on
some of the fire.
"Computer zap when wet sure, why the HECK does your's explode
into flames!? Better yet, WHY DID YOU THROW IT INTO THE TREE!?"

Shoke was furious. If it weren't for the entire park being on
fire, he'd be really close to actually hitting this girl. My
goodness...
"I THREW IT INTO THE TREE BECAUSE I PANICKED WHEN SOMEONE CAME
AND POURED SODA ON MY HEAVENSDANG LAPTOP!" Then, with a quick
five beeps from his gauntlet.
"Finally! All right, lets fix this mess up. NITRO MODE, ENGAGE!"
Shoke shouts as he forces down a button on the gauntlet,
activating his super speed again.
"Alright, you managed to keep up with me, so keep up with this!"
Shoke yelled to Sapphire as he began to run around the flaming
trees, trying to create a cyclone to remove all of the oxygen
from the flames, thus killing said fire.

Sapphire huffed angrily back at him, she was usually a pretty
happy and chill person, but this guy! Rrrrrgh!
Her hands curled into fists as she watched hi activate his speed
again, so he wasn't actually running that fast, it was activated
by a device, figures.
"I can sure as heck keep up with that, go faster, give me a
challenge!" She shouted as she joined him in creating a cyclone,
running faster and faster, she passed him, sticking her tongue
out at him teasingly as she did before shooting off, faster,
faster, round and round the tree.
Removing all the oxygen and killing off the fire.
When they had done this she dug her heels up into the ground,
bringing herself to a stop, forgetting that Shoke could be still
going behind her and may not be able to stop before bumping into
her back, potentially bowling them both over and landing them in
some sort of awkward situation.
She put her hands on her hips and "Hmph!"ed.

Shoke stopped short in front of Sapphire, glowing green and
vibrating incredibly fast, blurring his appearance. But, slowly
but surely, he began to return to normal. And the instant that
happened, Shoke fell onto his back and began panting heavily,
being super tired.
"That... wasn't... what... I... meant... when... I... said...
keep up... oh heavens..." Shoke said, gasping for air. He slowly
but surely managed himself up.
"Anyways... missy... the heck did you do that for? I said... I
was sorry... and I gave you... some money to pay... you back..."
Shoke was barely keeping himself up, and was still panting
really hard, making it obvious that doing that super speed thing
twice was not good for him.

She frowned at him blurring and vibrating, looks like his body
didn't like him going at fast speeds.
He then flopped down on his back, panting heavily, finally she
got a good look at his face when she did, a weird feeling
erupted in her tummy, but she ignored it, it was probably
ultimate hate or something...
She watched as he got back up, and huffed again, crossing her
arms, "Missy?" She growled, tilting her head, "Didn't you hear
me? I said Sorry doesn't count unless you say it to my face and
mean it-" She then lunged at him again, due to poor Shoke being
worn out, it was easier for her to knock him down and pin him.
Her hands on his wrists, and her tail on his tummy, and her legs
rested against his sides, keeping him there, "So if you still
want to apologise, nows your chance, say sorry to my face and
mean it" She said, leaning her face close to his, almost going
nose to nose with the lynx, staring him firmly in the eyes.
That weird feeling in her tummy worsened but she continued to
ignore it.

That's when Natasha arrived, jaw agape as she looked at the
carnage before her. The bag from the Blue Buffalo in her hand
fell to the ground, and she had to actually think about holding
her drink so it wouldn't fall and spill all over the ground.
"Sapphire... W-what happened?!.. The park... it..." Tears
started to build up in her eyes; their good time together,
ruined...
And then she noticed Sapphire pinning down Shoke. The lynx that
had barged through everyone to get food as if he was more
important... The lynx who had made Sapphire spill her drink on
herself and her chilidog... The lynx who's laptop had just burnt
down the city park... The lynx who never even apologized for
causing trouble in her favorite diner! She set her drink down
beside the bag, then walked over and picked him up with
surprising strength, right from under Sapphire, and held him up,
shaking him even. "You barge through people in my favorite
diner, make Sapphire spill her drink on herself, never
apologized to anyone, and carry around a laptop that just burnt
down the city park! What do you have to say for yourself?!" As
she finished screaming, her stomach could be heard growling
loudly; she still hadn't eaten yet...

"You think... this is how... I wanted my day... to go?" Shoke
snarled at Natasha. "You think I WANTED to have to barge through
a line to get coffee and doughnuts? You think I wanted to
accidentally spill miss speedster over here's drink? You think I
WANTED to burn down the park? YOU THINK I WANT TO BE CHEWED OUT
BY TWO PEOPLE I DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT SOMETHING THAT WASN'T EVEN
FULLY MY FAULT?!" Shoke was screaming at the highest volume his
lungs would let him at this point. Which was surprisingly loud,
considering. He manages to roll out from under Sapphire and
begins to leave, not even running away. Just... walking away.
"I can't believe the people in this timeline... i give them
money and apologize for a mistake? They chase me down and blow
up my freaking Laptop... I hate them so freaking much..." Shoke
grumbled as he left the two, hoping they were dumbfounded by his
yelling. Maybe they wouldn't even notice his slight limp...
