Horde Shenanigans

(Okay, basic idea here: everyone is on a team fighting off a
massive army of goons and what not like in a video game. If you
die, you respawn, and you can use whatever you like to fight!)
Cate brushed her hair away for a moment as she looked at her
aluminum bat; she felt a little silly getting ready to use it to
fight off and endless mob, but she wasn't fond of using guns.
"What do you think, Tasha; polish or no polish?" The hedgehog
looked to her feline friend with a smirk.
Natasha simply sat in a chair, no weapons in hand but her body
covered in a sort of kevlar-esch armor to protect her. She
simply shrugged and scratched her tummy gently. "Your choice,
Cate... I don't know what to tell you. I'm not even sure if I
will be any help..."
"Tasha, you're our cupcake cat! How could you ever say something
like that!" The turquoise girl ran over and gave her squishy
friend a hug, poking her belly. "Besides, I know this gut of
yours is ready; just let instinct take over, okay?"
"Okay, Cate; I'll do it for you," Natasha giggled as she looked
to the steel doors to the outside.

Shoke sat in the back of the room away from everyone else,
flipping through an unlabeled book.
"So... what are we up against again?" He asked, lowering his
book slightly to see everyone else.

A certain Black Panther was, in a very unusual way for her,
jumping around in excitement for some
reason.[glow=grey,2,300][I]"Isn't it exciting? I get to stab so
many people through the heart!"[/I][/glow] Luna was happy, and
that left the team in shock, they hadn't seen a smile from Luna
since 'Critical Bass'. That was a long time ago for them... Her
eyes began to glow purple signifying she had some kind of
darkness enhancer with her. Indeed a dark shard in one of her
zipped up pockets was intended to magnify her dark powers, but
not overload her. Who knows what would happen if she was
overloaded? [I](*cough* CollisionEventCate)[/I]
Monica had parked up in the Brute force of Luna's armour plated
7,000kg Hummer H1 Alpha, her idea was simple, run them over and
deflect all the projectiles that came their way.
Tashie and Madness had managed to work together for once,
another first. Tashie surprisingly looks unarmed, though a
bottle in her pocket labelled 'instant fur spiker' left
something to be wondered.
[I]"Not really my idea of hanging out."[/I]
[I]"Hey, the team is doing a good thing for once."[/I] a slight
smile came into the Hedgefox's face. [I]"It's good Tash. I like
it."[/I] You could literally see the purple Hedgefox's body
twitching wanting to glomp and kiss him!
Velma wasn't much of a fighter like her caring Mongoose teammate
and probably would have had nothing to do with it if Tashie
hadn't pulled them onto it. Madness and Monica had put their
heads and tinkering abilities together and constructed a set of
long range mortar launchers at went on top of a red mech that
Chelsea had loaned out to Madness the last time he had seen her.
Isabella had gone up to Cate and started barking at her and Cat
Natasha. Hedgefox Tashie's 'instant fur spiker' must work
because all of Isabella's fur except for her face was sized in
an array of different sizes of spiked up fur. Tashie whistled
over to the duo of Natasha and Cate. [I]"Hey you two!"[/I] she
called out. [I]"Catch!"[/I] and at that she threw a small bag of
dog treats to the girls.
The last one of Team Madness and the MFF currently residing in
his battle was Fem, located up in the air using a prototype
jetpack she'd found at an old airplane graveyard. Her Rifle out
and ready to fire when this giant horde had made an appearance.

Cate looked back to Luna for a moment and scratched her head
before answering the lynx's question. "I don't know to be
honest... A ton of crazy people?" The girl didn't actually know
what not was they were up against, just that it was them versus
the horde. She catches the bag of dog treats and looked at it
for a moment; better not give them to Natasha, she might get
hungry. Gently she took one of the treats out and fed it to
Isabella, smiling at the dog.
A siren blared just outside the doors, which slowly began to
inch their way up. Natasha scratched her stomach for a moment,
feeling it empty and starving. It was taking her a lot of effort
not to feel over in pain, but she stood at the doors and licked
her lips.

Shoke closed his book loudly the instant the siren started
blaring, and he stood up, a cutlass at his side.
"My guess is that they aren't even really people, they're
probably some kind of golems or automatons." He said chuckling
as he started walking to the door. He was equipped with light
armour enhancements, but more or less he looked as he normally
does.
"...But even if they aren't, they're trying to kill us. And that
isn't happening on my part." Shoke says, grabbing a very ornate
healing staff from the wall.
"Just make sure to get to me when you take some hits." He
finishes, smiling smugly.
