[Mysterious Forest Zone] Lost and Confused

Shoke continued to wander the mysterious land that the maelstrom
had taken him to, now reaching a dark forest with densely packed
and unfamiliar foliage. He kept going for what seemed like days
on his quest to find someone, anyone that he could get some help
from. Eventually he managed to find a clearing, and he began to
set up camp beginning with a campfire. He gathered some firewood
and began making the basic campfire shape out of it. When that
was done, he took one of his books out of his bag and opened it
up, flipping through some of the pages and eventually stopping.
"Igni!" He exclaimed, pointing free hand at the unlit campfire
and some mysterious glowing runes appeared around him and the
pile of twigs, and soon enough, a small ember formed from the
runes as they caught onto the remaining twigs and burst into a
lovely campfire, the runes fading in the process. Shoke sighed
as he sat down in front of it, pulling out his makeshift
knapsack and opening it to see what food he had left.
Rations. That was it. Joy.
He opened the ration bag and began choking it down, not liking
it at all. Soon he finished, closing his knapsack and hiding it
up a tree so that wildlife wouldn't be able to get it, and he
finally lay before the flame and began to allow himself to rest
until dawn.
He'd need as much energy as he could get for tomorrow.

Shoke wouldn't be alone for much longer though. A youngish
looking light purple and blue hedgefox had woken up in the
middle of the forest with a rucksack on her back.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"What happened?"[/I][/glow] The last
thing the poor girl knew, she was curled up on her bed at home,
her mother kissing her forehead and telling her [I]"Good Night
my dear."[/I] then a few minutes as she closed her eyes. Now she
had woke up out in a forest.
The girl had since then been wandering through the forest trying
to find her way out. Now it was nighttime, and she had no idea
how far she was from civilisation. Her eyes widened when she saw
the fire of Shoke's light up and she ran towards it. The items
in her rucksack jangling as she ran. She managed to come to a
screeching stop just short of Shoke's Fire, the sudden burst of
heat making her a bit woozy after her day of travelling, She
came inches from being set on fire but hardly pulled herself
back from the flames before falling onto her behind and then
onto her back, she just lay there for a second before it popped
into her head that if there was a fire, somebody else was here,
lookin up she saw Shoke and her ears dropped before she jumped
onto her foot. [glow=Lightskyblue,2,300][I]"Yikes!"[/I][/glow]
she would exclaim, her eyes widening.
[glow=Lightskyblue,2,300][I]"I'm so sorry for barging
in."[/I][/glow] she told the Lynx.
[glow=Lightskyblue,2,300][I]"I've been walking for most of the
day."[/I][/glow] she exclaimed, turning and about to run away
before she could get in trouble.

Shoke got up, surprised. He looked straight at her holding his
hands up, sort of motioning for her to stop.
Then he spoke to her, but she couldn't understand him. He was
speaking some language she had never heard before...

Sure enough since Shoke had asked her to stop that was what she
did. But she looked upset when Shoke began saying things that
she couldn't understand.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"Ohhhh!"[/I][/glow] she exclaimed.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,390][i]"I wish I could understand what you
were saying."[/I][/glow] she said as she flopped down, lying
down again. [glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"But it's all just a
bunch of words from a language I don't know. I'm so
sorry."[/I][/glow] she told him from her 'lying down' position.
Since he'd responded to her, she was chancing that he understood
what she was saying, she wished she could understand him though.

Shoke said another thing, this time being a question. He then
held up his finger in the sort of 'wait one second' motion. He
then pulled out a book from his pouch and flipped through it and
then began casting another spell. This time, she somewhat
understood what he said...
"Lingua!" He said, his spell burning a mark on his arm and the
page turning into ashes and flying off into the wind.
"Hey... can you understand what I'm saying now?" He said, now
speaking English with what seems to be some sort of Welsh
accent.

The light purple Hedgefox sure enough would sit up when she
heard him start talking in a language that she understood, and
hearing it she nodded rapidly. A smile coming into her face.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"Yes sir. That I
understand."[/I][/glow] she said to him as she nodded, happy
that she had found someone else in this forest.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"I'm... Lost."[/I] she admitted to
the Lynx after she stopped nodding, her smile also dropping.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"I've been trying to find my way out
of this forest, but i feel like I might have been going around
in circles."[/I] she explained, curling up.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"And I'm scared. I fell asleep at
home and when I woke up I was in this forest."[/I] It seemed
that the Hedgefox had as little of a clue of where she was as
Shoke did. [glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"Do you know where I
am?"[/I] she asked him, her eyes wide and sad.

Shoke shook his head.
"If I knew where here was, I wouldn't be here right now... I'm
lost myself, actually. All I know is that the ocean is that
way." He said, gesturing towards where he walked from to get
here.
"Sorry that I'm not much more help, but you can stay with me
here for the night if you want. Maybe you can tell me some
things about this place." He said, smiling at her.

Shoke pointing out which way the ocean was would actually prove
to be quite a help. [glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"Oh. Oh! Maybe I
can help both of us! If the ocean is thataway."[/I][/glow] she
pointed in the direction that Shoke had pointed out before.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"then surely there's lots of land
and people in the opposite direction."[/I][/glow] she said,
pointing in the opposite direction now.
[glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"Surely?"[/I][/glow] she asked him,
letting out a yawn. She was getting tired herself.

Shoke smiled and nodded.
"That's the general idea. I'm sure if we keep going we'll find
something eventually..." He then turned to the fire and looked
into it, his smile slowly being replaced by a solemn frown.
"...Hopefully..." He mumbles as he picks up his cutlass, pulling
it out and beginning to polish it.

The Light Purple Hedgefox shuffled herself over to Shoke's side
as he explained that they were thinking on the same lines. She
seemed to not be scared by his cutlass somehow, maybe she
trusted him? Either way the younger Hedgefox would most likely
surprise the Lynx by pressing her lips against his right cheek
in a quick kiss, telling him [glow=lightskyblue,2,300][I]"Thank
You."[/I] before shuffling herself to another part of the fire
and laying herself down, seeming to fall asleep within the
minute.
Shoke would quite potentially be on a lack of time to consider
what had just happened as another figure had made an appearance
by the fireplace. Her head bowed slightly and eyes closed,
facing towards Shoke's Purple Hedgefox accomplice. Eventually
she opened her eyes and turned her attention to Shoke.
[I]"Rheksahla, Shoke of Glaciem."[/i] Ceil would say to the Lynx
in a hushed tone. [I]"Please, do not speak too loudly."[/I] she
said to him. [I]"I wish for us to not risk awakening the
child."[/I] sure enough, a light snore came from the light
purple and blue Hedgefox, indicating her status asleep.
