Mobotropolis Mall: Fiancés Meeting Spree

Robin made his way up the start of the busy streets, full of
working mobians of different animals everywhere.
However, he appeared to be the only African Wild Dog in the
crowd, earning him a few odd looks from some people, he only
shot them a nervous smile back before passing by.
He'd been sent for two things here, well one, but he also had to
do something else as well. He first one, he had to obtain some
building parts for Engi, his team mate and instructor since
after he joined the BLU team with Sapphire, whom became the
Medic of the team. He smiled, he was proud of her for that,
something else he'd noticed with her since joining the team also
made him proud, but she denied it whenever it was brought up. Oh
well.
The second thing he had to do? Why, get things for his beloved
of course! And his daughter! They where off doing some shopping
themselves elsewhere and he had to do something to help restrain
himself from chasing after them to chill out with them, he had
needed to give the two a bit of space, Madeliene especially, he
hadn't wanted to leave her side since the two first met! And had
succeeded in such for the most part until now.
Time to focus back on what he was looking for.
Robin looked out for any store with a sign of either of what he
was looking for, bolts and screws? Nope, not there, Love hearts
and Cupid's maybe? Nah not here either, Vehicle parts and
Wrenches? No, Suits and Dresses, Nope. No, no, no, no. He
sighed, dropping his arms and slouching forwards, back in his
time, there was no massive shopping malls that where safe to go
to anymore, he'd never shopped before in his life, there where
so many people doing so many different things at one time, he
could get lost in here, honestly. He brought his muzzle to the
air, maybe he could pick up a scent of loving perfume to lead
him the way? That new tire smell perhaps? He closed his eyes
and- "Nnnnck!" He gave a dog sneeze and scrunched up his nose,
after being blasted by far too many smells at one time for his
nose to properly handle. He could smell all the foods, the
scents people where wearing, more of the foods, the smells
different objects around the mall gave off, that disgusting and
strong smell nail polish remover made, hair products smells.
His senses where going haywire, his ears picking up all the
sounds, as his nose picking up all the smells and his eyes all
the sights, only his taste and touch weren't being used it
seemed. He put a hand to his forehead, with so many things going
on, he was gaining a headache... But that wasn't going to halt
him in his shopping!
He lifted his left and and tapped his left wrist, blinking as he
tapped again, only feeling the cuff from the suit he was still
wearing as he still had his clothes missing, and his device. He
sighed, fine then, time to improvise. He made his way over to an
electronic map of the mall that showed where all the stores
where, it was simple enough, you could search stores by
sections, but it wasn't good enough for Robin. He frowned down
at the machine, before kneeling down and getting on all fours to
reach it's wires and workings, busting open the hatch to it he
then began to tinker and tamper with the public electronic help
map. Biting his tongue as he stuck it out in concentration. He
got multiple confused looks from people passing by, was he
suppose to be tampering with that?
A few minutes later and he seemed satisfied with his work,
closing the hatch on the electronic map shower before sitting
back up and getting to his feet, looking at the map now with a
smile. He had not only modified the layout but made it so you
could search for specific items and stores throughout the mall.
Hands on his waist he looked pretty proud of his work, first
locating a store for things for his love and then a store that'd
supply him with parts for Engi before dusting his hands and
turning away from it, "That's more like it" He grinned as he
headed for the love store first, back amongst the crowds of
people he had reached the store soon enough, looking at it just
from the outside for the moment.

[glow=navy,2,300][I]"Bah BOOOOM!"[/I][/glow] As this sound came
from the combination of a male and a female's voice there was an
actual explosion in the mall, though it didn't damage anything,
the temperature rose several degrees for a few seconds before
dropping back to how it was before. Some kind of fireball
explosion perhaps? Now who do we know with that kind of fire
control?
[I]"Swingin on a VIIIINE, suckin on a piece of, SWIIIINE. Cheeka
boom come UP from beHIIIIND."[/I] yep, one of the two voices
singing that was definitely Robin's flamethrowing teammate
Madoka,my he team's pyro who seemed to be busy with Robin's anti
when she wasn't donning the flameproof suit and pyrovision mask.
The other one probably wouldn't be familiar to the wild dog.
Madoka ended up spotting Robin first and yanked back her
partner. [I]"Cholo right ahead homie."[/I] she said to who she
had with her as he continued to sing, or rap, after another 30
seconds of song and music or so, including Madoka joining back
in, Madoka's singing partner disappeared, no prizes for guessing
who it was now, and considering he still had Robin's device, it
came as no surprise to Madoka that he was gone in a hurry. Since
he'd got back from wherever he'd been with that device he'd
seemed happy in a different way to normal. Despite her night
with Nibor, she didn't realise that she was in the same boat as
him, not yet, all she saw was a guy that was good at what she
wanted...
Sure enough though she appeared behind the wild dog and poked
him, considering leaning on him. [I]"Hey, toolkit Junior."[/I]
she said to him, a grin on her face. [I]"Out for Teleporter
Parts I'm guessin?"[/I]

The explosion caught Robin's attention that was for sure, and of
course a bunch of other shoppers, a few screams from the loud
noise sounded too, but people relaxed as only the temperature
changed before going back to normal. Feeling the heat Robin
stuck out his lower lip with a frown, Madoka. The one who set
all the huts back at Knothole on fire, and Pyro of the BLU Team
that he was now apart of.
He shook his head and turned back to face the store window as
Madoka and another continued to sing around the store, hearing
them get closer made him want to shrink, his tail going between
his legs, maybe they'll just pass by him?
He felt a poke shortly after he heard them stop the singing, he
closed his eyes, took in a breath and then looked over his
shoulder to see Madoka, a grin on her face like always, he'd
never seen her without one while she wasn't wearing her mask.
"Robin" He said, raising an eyebrow at the nickname she gave
him, he guessed Engi was probably called something similar at
times.
He turned around to face her and managed a small smile, "Yes
actually, but that was second on my list right afterrrr..." He
glanced back at the shop behind him then back at Madoka, putting
a hand behind his head, would it be wise to let her know? He
waved his hands to get attention, hoping she hadn't looked to
the store behind him, "You know what? Nevermind, Haha! I'll do
it later or something, why don't you and I go and get some
teleporter parts?" He asked with a nervous grin as he started to
walk past her and away from the store.

[I]"Right after getting gifts for your beloved Pyro who saves
your buildings from being sapped by the RED Spy?"[/I] she asked
him then letting out a giggle. [I]"I'm just kidding you pecker
lips, I know what you're getting first, gifts for Sniper."[/I]
she seemed confident that she was right, but she couldn't
possibly have heard of things between Fem and Robin surely?
[i]"How do I know? Well there isn't anyone else that makes her
lose herself in rage by just being snapped up and dragged off by
another girl. I'm a girl of romance, so I can [B]tell[/B] she's
into you with what I've seen. And judging by the way you're
tryna duck the fact that you're, however you burn the rope,
right outside a romance shop, I'm pretty confident that you're
into her too."[/I] she pointed out, sticking her tongue out at
the wild dog attempting to wander away. [I]"So why you afraid to
admit it?"[/I] she asked him, she'd admit, she had [B]a bit[/B]
of an idea that the question could have an impact on Robin.

Robin shot her a rather goofy look at her first remark before
smiling and giving a short laugh, as she gave a giggle, "Yeah,
real funny Pyro, but I could get you something if you really
wanted, you have a point in there in that you save my stuff from
those RED's" He gave a nod, "It sucks when you work real hard to
build something only for someone else to break it, you know?
Like building sand castles on the beach, and someone just walks
on over them, trampling them back to just a sand pile" Robin
said, looking off, staring into space for a few moments, seemed
his mind had drifted off to the beach he was referring to, beach
and Fem. Oooh Bikini, his eyelids drooped and his cheeks went
pink and he let out a dreamy sigh.
He snapped back to things when Madoka spoke back up again,
"Pecker lips?" Now where'd she get that one from? He went a
little red when she pointed out that he was getting gifts for
Fem though, "Well I-I uh.. She's.. Real good at pinging off
those RED heads, huh? Haha" He laughed nervously, closing his
hands into fists, feeling his face heat up as he began to have a
nervous sweat.
He thought for a few moments on what Madoka said after though,
Fem loosing it in rage at his hacked AI pinning him and stealing
him away from her. She was making valid points as to how she
knew.
Robin shook his head at her when she stuck his tongue out at
him, "You remind me of Sapphire, doing that, or should I say
Medic now that she's taken that role?" He smiled, stopping in
his attempt to take her away from the romance store, she knew,
what was the point in denying that?
Her last question made his eyes widen slightly, he looked away
and thought of how to answer that exactly to the flame wielder.
His ears lowered and he looked back to Madoka, "Well.." He
stepped back and held out his arms, looking aside, "Look at me,
do I even deserve to be with with her? She's so.. So.. So.." He
looked aside and gave a sigh that turned into a smile,
"Beautiful and Strong, Confident and Full of Skills, and that's
just the start really, she's wonderful, and I.. I..." He put his
hands together, tapping his index fingers together and looking
down at Madoka's feet, "Well.. Uhhh.. I for one am not brave or
anything like she is. I mean- We had- Um. We've spent some time-
Oh man, how do I put this?" He put a hand to his forehead for a
moment before looking to Madoka, "Nevermind, nevermind. Why am I
afraid to admit it? I, dunno. I'm just a nervous wreck at this I
guess" He admitted, dropping his arms, "You ever had somebody
that you've gotten nervous around Pyro? Know what it feels
like?" He looked down at himself and huffed, "I get all nervous
and red just talking about it, see?" He took in a breath, "So,
you're a girl of romance huh?" He questioned, reaching out to
take her hands, but only to hold them and give her a smile,
"Care to help a guy in need here? With romance? Cause I could
sure use some help, I don't even know what to get her" He
smiled, putting a hand behind his head.
