Spin Dash Time?

Sonic had broke into a run down the city street. He moved his
legs quickly as he rushed around in circles constantly. Before
long he had ran in a circle so many times he had worn a donut
shaped hole into the ground. Before long he curled into a ball
spin dashing around his small circular circuit. The hedgehog
uncurled with a groan flopping onto his back. He looked up
towards the blue sky placing his hands behind his head. "It's so
peaceful...so quiet......I hate it." He stated to himself as he
was beyond bored.

A shadow fell over the relaxing speedster, and the silhouette of
a hedgehog stood over him.
"Hey there pally. You alright?" He asked, his voice inflections
very peculiar and menacing, though he didn't seem to be trouble.

Sonic's eyes darted towards the stranger as he opened one of
them wide. "Just bored out of my brains. Where's Robotnik when
you need him? Ugh I guess last time I really went overkill." The
odd speech patterns raised a brow. "So whats your deal? Just out
for a stroll?" He asked sitting up soon climbing out of the
hole.

Getting a better look at the stranger shows an orange hedgehog
with black stripes down his quills and crimson eyes. He chuckles
and holds out his hand, offering to help Sonic up.
"Not necessarily. Just looking for someone." He then thinks
briefly, then looking back at Sonic.
"Excuse me, did you say Robotnik?"

Sonic took the hand getting out of the hole before looking
towards the west. He was looking towards the direction of the
last of Robotnik's bases he had destroyed. He smiled and pointed
a single finger up. "You got it. You know ol large and in
charge? emphasis on the large." Sonic said as he snickered at
his own joke.

He merely sighed at more mentioning of Robotnik.
"I do believe we're referring to different Robotniks.
Apologies." He then takes a closer look at Sonic. "Wait...
aren't you that 'Sonic' guy? The one who's saved peoples lives
and all?"

Sonic's ego soon took charge as he cracked his fingers.
"Lives,world the universe. That'd be me greatest hero on this
rock. Sonic Hedgehog, hero, ladies hog and all around great
guy." He said with a smug smile before looking a little shocked.
"You telling me theres another Robotnik other than ol lardbutt?"
He inquired now curious.

The orange hedgehog stretched his arms behind his head.
"Well there'd have to be. After all, he is a living creature.
Relatives and all." He then lowers his arms and snaps his right
finger.
"Ah yes, I was asking if you'd seen someone. I'm looking for a
guy that looks kinda like me, only with yellow fur and blue
eyes." He said, attempting to dodge the blue blur's ego as much
as physically possible.

"Can't say I have man. Most of the people I know moved away from
the city a while ago. Off to pursue their own paths and such.
Meanwhile I'm stuck here protecting this place. It gets rather
dull at times....." Sonic said trailing off as his eyes looked
to the clouds.

The stranger looked up at the sky and shrugged.
"Oh well. Thanks for your time pal. I'll be out of your fur
now." The orange hedgehog turned around and began walking north,
pulling a cellphone out of his jacket. Once out of earshot he
called someone, talked for a brief moment and put the phone
away.
