Seasons

So we all know Earth here has the four seasons; Summer, Autumn
(Or Fall), Winter and Spring, each season has it's own set
weather and conditions for each part of the Eath, like Winter is
cold, snows even for some places, while Summer is hot, Autumn
the leaves turn brown and fall and Spring is warm and full of
life.
But they're the seasons for Earth.
What about the seasons for Mobius?
We could come up with our own seasons here, which change over a
set of time, I'd like to keep it to a small amount of seasons,
four like the Earth here would be good. The current season will
be displayed in the news at the top right under the search bar,
and it can effect the settings your characters are in.
That'd be pretty neat right? c:
I was thinking of displaying a 'day and night' thing too, but
that might get complicated.
Anyhow back to the seasons.
What will the seasons names be? And what will happen during
those seasons? How long will they last? Let's make it up
together guys! :D
When we've figured it all out, I will write up a more structured
and set out version of the seasons and about them in the wiki
and then set up a season accordingly in the news c:
We can also organise holidays that happen in the seasons, like
Christmas and Easter and all that jazz.
[b]Try to include:
- A season name
- Common season weather conditions (eg. For a Summer it's warm
and sunny)
- Special weather conditions/ public events that take place
during this season
- An activity or two that is best to be done during that season
(eg. Winter is good for hot chocolates and fireplaces, while
Summer is good for going to the beach)
- Which months the Season/s are in
Write up your ideas guys let's get the creative juice flowin and
make up some snazzy seasons! :D

Gennistora, The Season of Storms - Weather becomes unpredictable
around about the late 7th, 8th and early 9th months of the year.
One minute the weather could be sunshine, slight breeze to
accompany the temperatures, then 60 seconds later the sun is
gone and the rain comes down in buckets, with thunder and
lightning becoming a recurring thing.
Altan, The Season of Eclipses - Sudden Solar eclipses become a
fairly common thing in the days of months 10 through 12. These
eclipses tend to submerge half the planet into darkness for
about 15 seconds every week, there seems to be no pattern to
them.

Maybe listing a few weather conditions and climates may help to
kick up the creativity? c:
The North and South pokes of Earth don't exactly have a distinct
day and night time like we do.
Maybe a season where the sun stays up for a full half of it and
then is down for the rest could cause some interesting
opportunities? o:
Hail's something I've always thought was pretty Kool, you know,
when it rains ice? What's to say Mobius can't have that as
something common in a season?
Remember, we can make it all completely up. Mobius is not Earth,
the same rules that go for Earth don't apply to Mobius, this is
a Sonic universe, logic isn't a main subject here xD
We could have a season where the clouds change colours, or rain
goo, or chocolate, yum.
The seasons could also effect the mood and settings of things,
like in Spring, it tends to be a time of 'life' where newborns
are made and all that jazz, that kinda sets a mood now doesn't
it?

(unnamed) ,Season of cherry blossoms - This kind of event
happens once every four years, it starts around the 2nd month of
the year and only lasts 4 weeks. All the leaves across Mobius
would wither and be replaced by cherry blossoms, the winds
around this time would be slightly breezy causing some of the
petals from the flowers to fall. This would be the perfect time
to enjoy and relax, while others use this as an opportunity to
harvest one of these magnificent flowers that can either be used
for making decorations, medicines, or wine. This is also called
the season of "blooming", it is customary here to catch a
falling petal.When you have captured it, you recall all of the
things you had never accomplished or things you want to change
in the past year. Once you finished thinking, you let the petal
go and let it be blown by the wind. This symbolizes that you are
changing or rather you are ready to change, blossom, be the
Mobian you weren't back then.
(This is sorta like the Spring in Japan, and the custom here is
like the "New years resolution thing")
Sinagtala,Season of the stars- "Sinagtala" means starlight.
This kind of event happens every 5 years, where in all the stars
and constellations would fill the night sky, sometimes there
might be even meteor showers. There's not a cloud in sight and
the temperature will be a little chilly, even with the city
lights the stars above the sky would still be seen. It's the
perfect time to go stargazing with friends, family, etc but best
to do it in an open area.
