I Have a good suggestion, regarding the challenges, why don't we
pick one challenge and ask 3 people to donate just for that
challenge, the 3 people are free to gain top 3 spots while every
one else gets the bonus for participating.
We can change it around for every challenge and that way
different people get a shot at the good prizes. we can then
easily keep track of what got donated easier per challenge, and
if people that want to over kill to try and get the top prizes
just instantly booted as soon as the challenge has ended no
lists no warnings nothing that way we can be sure of proper
games man/woman ship in the alliance. simple not a rule as such
but a compromise,that people may feel is more economical and
people don't feel shit if they donate and get sweet f*ck all.
ANY AND ALL COMMENTS APPRECIATED SO WE CAN GET THE SHIT OF
OVERKILLING SORTED ONCE AND FOR ALL. ESPECIALLY AS I HAVE SEEN
SOME GOOD PEOPLE LEAVE OVER THIS AND HAVE EVEN CONSIDERED IT
MYSELF. I WOULD RATHER COME UP WITH A SOLUTION THAT SUITS
EVERYONE.

So those 3 people are the only ones who donate to that
challenge? Or they donate the hardest stuff? Or they donate the
most stuff?
I like the idea that everyone is free to hit as long as they
don't end up on the leaderboard.

they would be the only ones to donate to that particular
challenge hence getting the top 3 spots, like i stated it would
change per each challenge so 3 different people donate each
time. just seems a fairer option that's all

Option 4 in "Concerning Alliance Challenges" thread.
"Only the top contributors should be allowed access to the top 3
rankings for damage."
Somewhat similar to option four except the top contributors are
pre-selected? Perhaps, by either fate, fortune, or current
alliance leader?

well option 4 isn't really working so something similar okay but
yes, maybe pick the 3 people and give it a try. at least it will
be only them 3 donating rather than more and it becoming a mess.
guaranteed to then let the 3 of them get top spot even if they
then have to over hit on it to guarantee their prize.

Option 4 was never put into action as it was not favored.
Organizing this effort would be far more tedious, and it would
surely result in losing many people, that I don't doubt. And
also accompanying this is the fact that the damage number is
random. Someone, say Roone for instance because his hits tend to
be quite hard hitting, might accidentally wind up in Top 3.
Who's to say it was or wasn't an accident. There are many gray
lines in this approach and that makes it much harder to enforce.
However if a large quantity of the membership agrees we can give
it a go. I just don't think it will be very efficient.

I agree with Synyster; it isn't feasible. It appears alliances
will be limited to 500 members, so to have 3 people do all the
contributing to one challenge is silly and slow. On a smaller
alliance, it might be possible but not one this size.

How about we just allow as much hitting as people want but tell
everyone that if they hit more than 10 or 20 times they better
be donating to the challenges. That part would be on the honor
system. It might work better than the current rule's honor
system because there's the personal benefit to donating to
challenges of having more challenges exist.
What would be easily enforceable is that anyone who finishes in
the top 3 has to donate a rare item within 2 days.

That isn't feasible either. The idea is to do the greatest good
for all, not the individual. If you're here to reap your own
glory, you're going to get your ass kicked out. It's that
simple.
