Limit of friends?

What is the absolute limit to how m any friends I can have on
GoTA? Just wondering if I need to be more selective with my
friends.

There are conflicting reports. Some people say there is a limit
of 100 friends. Others say they have upwards of 800. So I can't
be sure. It seems that the friend system may be glitched, or
there is a cap at 100 and people are lying. Could go either way.

in V3 missions you have an objective to have 60 friends.
and actually i have 500 friends with "add friend" option in
kongregate chat room. and it's so fast to add a friend...play
with Kongregate to have friend but it is so slow to refresh all
your boxes !
