Following the winding path up the slope of the Voltai range,
higher and higher it takes you through endless timbers of great
pine trees. The wind whispering in the boughs of the trees as
you exit their protective cover and enter into the meadow.
Directly ahead is the Lodge and Home of Dark Wolf, Master and
Ubar of these lands for many a pasang in all directions.
Your path leads you to the Lodges Great double doors and yet
also parts to the left towards a mountain pond, fed by a nearby
rushing waterfall. The spur of the path to the left leads to a
decking, built of strong and sturdy wood, partly extending out
over the pond, partly on land. Beside this decking nearly at
the shores of the crystal clear pond waters, is the greatest of
all trees in His lands, its boughs extend partly over the
decking as they too stretch to the moons above. It is the
branding tree of the Wolfs home. The sights taken in, yet more
there is felt to be found and seen with in......where will the
path lead you?
So what is Dark Shadows? It is a place to learn and discover
your path in Gor. Whether or not you are new or an old timer, we
are accepting of all levels.
Now that you have found your way here, now what? Well I would
advise to start with the boards. There is plenty of information
and you can see some of the latest “drama” that is going on.
When you first sign up to the forums, you should contact one of
the moderators to adjust your status. All new comers can see a
small portion of the boards. Then there is the Free section and
the slave section. Once your status is placed by an admin, then
more will appear.
There are also benefits to being a house member. The house
members (includes slaves) have access to training and training
material. But becoming a house member is never required and is a
big step, think it over.
Another thing that makes Dark Shadows unique from most is that
we are a combination of online and real time. Some own the
slaves real time as well as online and some of us must do with
only being online. But there is no discrimination between the
two. We feel that what works for that couple should remain as
such. But we do not turn around and have the mentality that
those who are ONLY online are not true slaves.
Remember this when you come to our home. We are a family. A
family with like beliefs and this is a LIFESTYLE to us. The chat
and boards is merely a place to have the role play, but many
aspects behind the Gorean philosophy is followed here.
We may not be strictly by the books, but we do have higher
standards. If you seek an easy ‘slut’ and fast use…go elsewhere.
