Cleaning the Great Room

stepping on to the path that leads to my home i smile and look
around taking in all the beauty..
walking slowly up the path i listen to the sounds of nature all
around me slowly making my way up onto the decking and then
crossing it to make my way to the great room....
entering the great room i take a deep breath and smile as i move
over to the rep clothes and takes one then moves to a table and
begins wiping it off and moving around the great room wiping all
the tables off...
moving to the hearth i wipe off the shelf above it making sure
not to disturb the collar and rose in the glass cases and smiles
when i see the beauty of them ...
moving over i place the rep clothes in a basket to be washed
then return to the hearth and kneels before it and scoops the
ashes out with my hands into a sac then rises and takes the sac
outside and places it beside the building...
moving back into the great room i move around the great room
taking the furs and rugs outside and up to the decking and
laying them over the rails...
once the furs and rugs are laid over the deckings rails i go get
a stick and strips the bark of the stick makig sure it is sturdy
enough to handle the beating of furs and rugs...
moving back up to the decking i take the stick and begin beating
a fur to knock all the dust and dirty from it...
once that is done i move to the next fur and beat all the dust
and dirt from it as well and continue doing this to all the furs
untill all of them have been beaten and are free of dust and
dirt...
moving to the rugs i start on the first rug and beat it knocking
the dust and dirt from it then move to the next rug and beats it
free of dust and dirt as well....
being short of breath and my arms aching a little bit i move to
the edge of the docking and kneel looking out across the water
to the waterfall just for a few ehn to catch my breath and ease
the aching in my arms....
rising from my kneel i return to the rugs and finish beating
them out knocking the dust and dirt from them....
gathering up all the furs i carry them back to the great room
and move to a darkened corner of the room and lay the furs on
one of two tables there not wanting to place them on the floor
yet because i have yet to sweep and scrub the floor...
i turn and go back out and up to the decking and cary one rug at
a time back to the great room and lays the rugs on the other
table by the furs...
moving to a cabinet i open it and take out the broom and begins
sweeping the great room from the back to the front and sweeping
the dust and dirt right out the door to the great room returning
it to the great outdoors humming to myself while i work...
once the floor has been swept i take the barrel and move into
the servery and fills a kettle with water to boil once the
water has boiled i pour it into the barrel and add some cold
water and citrus...
returning to the great room i start at the back of the room and
go to my hands and knees and begins scrubbing the floor..begins
singing the song whistle while you work as i scrub the floor...
moving from right to left pausing every once in a while to rest
my arms and back and to stand and stretch then going back to my
hands and knees and begins scrubbing the floor again....
continues the scrubbing of the floor until all of the floor has
been scrubbed then takes the barrel outside to the side of the
building and empties it ...
returning to the great room i stop and kneel in the doorway
setting the barrel down beside me and waits for the floor to dry
before walking on it...
once the floor is dry a place the barrel and scrub brush back
into the cabinet then move to the two tables with the furs and
rugs...
taking the furs i carry them and place them back in the spots
they go in then goes back to the tables and carries one rug at a
time and places the rugs back in their proper places...
smiling i turn and exit the great room and returns to the
kennels.
