Weeding the Vegetable Garden

she kneels down by the garden and begins pulling the weeds and
old dead remaining reminiscences of vegetable plants from the
garden soil moving up the row as she does and using her hands
she turns the soil over so that the top soil is mixed with fresh
soil from beneath it...
moving to the next row she continues to pull weeds and old
plants and turns the soil mixing old top soil with the soil
beneath it... she leans back upon her heels and takes in the
beauty of her home and smiles...
she begins pulling the weeds and old plants from the remainder
of the garden and mixes the top soil and the soil beneath it...
she looks at the bare garden to make sure she got all the weeds
and got all the soil mixed together so it is ready for the next
planting on vegetables then rises to her feet and gathers up all
the weeds and old plants and moves to the forest and spreads
them over the ground for the wild animals to eat then makes her
way to the kennels..

Moving through the woods of My home, listening and watching for
each and every change in appearance and sound. Knowing full
well that either could be a crafty sleen that has made its way
past the gaurds of My home, closer to cochise and omega and yet
not. Or perhaps a slave or even one of My black clad brethren
seeking to make a name for themselves.
passing close to the barn and thus the garden of old. veggies
and weeds long since left to the central fires will.
pausing to note now the turned soil, it is not simply an urt
seeking a treat, but the whole of the old garden effectively
tilled. Knowing the conversations I had taken part in and
heard, knowing the will....I knew the answer and smiled before
turning back deeper into the wood...
