she moves up the path of her home..her white silks flowing about
her with every step she takes...reaching the decking she steps
softly onto it and moves across it with silent graceful
steps..making her way off the decking on the opposite side she
entered it on she makes her way down the path to the barn...
reaching the barn she opens the door and steps inside and walks
around looking for the torch supplies... finding the supplies
she grabs 6 of the wood handles and 4 hand fulls of the rep
cloth and a spool of twine and moves and kneels next to the
       barrel of pitch..
she lays the wood handles next to her on the ground and picks
one up and begins taking a piece of rep cloth and wraps it
around one end of the handle and ties it in place with the
twine..then she picks up another piece of the cloth and repeats
what she just did until she has secured 8 pieces of the cloth
onto the handle then she puts the end with the twine and cloth
on it into the barrel of pitch to soak as she begins work on the
       next torch..
while the first torch is soaking she begins making the second
torch wrapping the cloth around the handle and tying the cloth
in place with the twine as she hums to herself...she repeats
wrapping the cloth and tying it in place another 5 times and
takes the first torch from the pitch and lays it to the side and
places the second torch in the pitch to soak...
she picks up the third handle and wraps cloth around it tying it
in place with the twine and repeats this process 6 more times
and removes the second torch from the pitch and places the third
       into the pitch to soak..
picking up the fourth handle she repeats all the steps she did
for the first three torches wrapping the cloth around the handle
and tying it in place 7 times then removes the third torch from
the pitch and places the fourth in the pitch to soak...
she picks up the fifth handle and repeats wrapping the cloth
around the handle and tying it in place with the twine 8 times
then removes the fourth torch from the pitch and places the
fifth torch into the pitch to soak..
she takes the sixth handle and repeats the wrapping of the cloth
and tying it in place with the time 8 times and removes the
fifth torch from the pitch and places the sixth into the pitch
       to soak..
she takes the first 5 torches over to the barn wall and leans
them against it so they can dry and goes back to the pile of
wood handles and picks up six more and another big handful of
the cloth and kneels back down beside the pitch barrel...
she picks up a handle and warps cloth around it tying the cloth
in place 6 times and removes the sixth torch from the pitch and
places the seventh torch into the pitch to soak...
she picks up the eight handle and wraps cloth around it tying it
in place 7 times and removes the seventh torch from the pitch
and places the eight torch into the pitch and continues doing
these steps till all twelve torches have been made then she
takes the ones she just finished making over to the wall and
places them beside the first torches she made so that they can
dry then she exits the barn and goes to the side of the barn
       where the vegetable garden is....
