       CLAMP

       Not an anime but creators of various anime and manga and
       personally my favorite manga-ka
       CLAMP used to consist of 12 members but today is only 4 women.
       They have created various manga--many famous during the 90's.
       Some of these titles as RG Veda, Magic Knight Rayearth, Tokyo
       Babylon, and X. They are still drawing to this days with
       Cardcaptor Sakura, last year's end to Tsubasa Reservoir
       Chronicles, and this year's end to xxxholic. CLAMP have also
       provided character designs and illustrations for other
       works--most notably Code Geass.
       Their drawing style are amazing. They extremely elaborate in
       their outfits for both males and females. They also feature
       detailed hair and eyes. CLAMP also has the drawing style of many
       shoujo manga.
       CLAMP also display some reoccuring themes in their series. One
       of the most recognizeable is the ideal of true love or having a
       soulmate--regardless of age, gender, race, and even whether or
       not they are human. The other is the ideal that all people make
       their own decisions and thus shape their own destinies, and
       'Hitsuzen', the idea that all events are imminent because of
       past decisions. Each manga also have their own messages such as
       'chaste love' in Chobits and 'duality', the idea that people can
       ultimately be good or evil, as displayed in X.
       One thing that makes CLAMP interesting is their tendency to have
       characters make guest appearances in other mangas. This is
       especially true in Tsubasa as it features many of their
       characters in a different life, but same name. (Ex: Sorata
       (Sora) appears mutliple times and it originally from X and the
       travelers often speak with Yuko, one of the characters of
       xxxHolic).
