Future Diary (Mirai Nikki)

This one isn't an anime but they do have an OVA for it.
Yukiteru Amano has always been distant from other students and
spends all his time keeping a 'diary' on his cell phone of
everything that occurs around him. He has an 'imaginary' friend
known as Deus Ex Machina--who is basically God-- that one day
thrusts him into a 'game' of survival with twelve other people.
Deus gives them all diaries that can tell the future, and Yuki
quickly finds out that it's kill or be killed in this game. This
leads him to trust and depend on another diary user--a psychotic
loverstruck stalker, Yuno Gasai.
It isn't as warped as Umineko, except for the end. I'll admit
it's a bit psychotic but the concept is unique and truly makes
one realize: the future can always be changed.
