Trans Cities Railroad Conglomerate.
Operate trains in the northen area, on broad gauge tracks.
About 60% of the tracks are electrified.
Split into the following 'brands'
Trans-Express
Trans-Regional
Trans-Com (commuter)
Trans-Freight
Trans Express use high speed trains built in the late 70's/
80's, with services connecting the major cities, with a few
trains a day operating each service.
The inter country service also comes under the express band
(despite na d average speed of about 40 mph. This is hauled by a
powerful diesel twin loco with DVT, operates as a sleeper at
night.
Trans Regional form the bulk of operations between towns and
cities. Trains tend to be very long but run fairly low
frequency.
Electric service ran with large powerful electric locos, often
double headed, with dvt on the rear.
Diesel service consists of powerful locos, again some double
headed and also some twin units, and again with a DVT.
Also various rail buses for low demand lines and some multiple
units for shorter inter-city routes
Also run sleeper services.
Trans-Com use mostly EMU's with DVT on end, as well as some
DMU's and rail buses.
Tans freight have the most powerful locos of any country with
twin, tri and even quad units. Most frieght is heavy such as
metals, coal wood etc.

Not sure I'd go as far as quad units, but could certainly see a
twin double header.

The high speed trains possibly gas turbine.
Some possibilities. The Russian one I showed, the old French gas
turbine,tee train. Very early boozy pendelino. Not necessary
gassy fat looming or particularly aerodynamic. Could be quite
angular.

I do like Gas Turbine but maybe not necessary as the lines are
electrified?
There is the old TGV style train I made up that would fit quite
nicely. I currently planned to use him on Tri-County, or could
make up something new.
There is a quad unit Russian loco but I think they only use him
in 3 sections unfortunately.

The body in charge of commissioning rolling stock and deciding
what it's needed where etc. as well as other tasks is the;
Rhodovian Institute for the Design and Implementation of
Transportation Solutions and Logistics
or RIDITS for short (the last "L" being dropped).
I think what they exactly do is nicely wrapped up in mess of
bureaucratic red tape.
