An injured man who survived the Las Vegas massacre refused to
‘take a knee’ when he met President Trump in hospital, dragging
himself out of bed to shake hands with the POTUS.
Thomas Gunderson was one of the hundreds injured during the
deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
The video shows him making a concious effort to stand up
immediately before Melania Trump enters the room. Melania tells
him it’s not necessary to stand, but Gunderson does so anyway
“Hey this guy looks tough to me,” Trump said as he entered the
room before patting Gunderson on the back.
“I will never lie down when the President of this great country
comes to shake my hand!” Gunderson posted on his Facebook page.
“There may be plenty of issues in this country but I will always
respect my country, my president and my flag. Shot in the leg or
not, I will stand to show my President the respect he deserves!”
The video has been viewed over 12 million times in less than 24
hours, with well in excess of 300,000 shares.
Perhaps Colin Kaepernick and the rest of the NFL cry-babies
should take note.

During a dinner with military leaders tonight, President Trump
gave an ominous warning seemingly out of the blue: “You guys
know what this represents? Maybe it’s the calm before the
storm,” he said: “It could be the calm… before… the storm.”
A reporter quickly asked what the storm might be –“Is it Iran,
ISIS, what’s the storm?” to which he replied… “…you’ll find
out.”
The warning took place during a photo-call on occasion of a
dinner hosted for US military leaders and their wives, with
Donald and Melania attending. Mid-way through photos, the
President said to reporters: “You know what this represents?
Maybe it’s the calm before the storm” an ominous, loaded phrase
considering the context and the present company.

Trump Doubles Down: Network Licenses 'Must Be Challenged'

Following two tweets about fake news on Wednesday morning,
President Donald Trump returned to that subject eleven hours
later, tweeting: “Network news has become so partisan, distorted
and fake that licenses must be challenged and, if appropriate,
revoked. Not fair to public!”
Earlier in the day, Trump responded angrily to an NBC News
exclusive report saying that he asked his military leaders for a
big increase in the number of U.S. nuclear weapons during a July
meeting at the Pentagon.
n two Wednesday morning tweets, Trump said:
“Fake @NBCNews made up a story that I wanted a ‘tenfold’
increase in our U.S. nuclear arsenal. Pure fiction, made up to
demean. NBC = CNN!”
And then: “With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the
Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their
License? Bad for country!”
Trump also addressed the subject in a Wednesday evening
interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity, who interviewed the
president in Pennsylvania, just before Trump’s speech on tax
cuts.
