Swansea City have had a busy week with the Barclays
Premier League resuming and the Goaaaal FA Cup. The club
appointed "Colinw" as manager a very experienced manager and has
won trophies so bring glory to Swansea City Football club.
The Swans drew 1-1 in midweek with Newcastle United in the
Premier League and last night back that up with a hard fought
4-2 win in extra time over Championship Hull City in the Goaaaal
FA Cup.
The team had the possession but a plucky Hull City made it a
difficult game for the Swans but at the final whistle their was
relief for the manager and players as they booked their place in
the Quarter Finals thanks to goals from Meireles, Hoogland,
Caicedo and Felip Anderson.
The Cup provided some big shocks last night with Championship
Sutton United knocking our Premier League leaders Arsenal,
Championship Fulham knocked out Chelsea.
Swans fans will be happy the team are through and several of bug
clubs gone from the competition and hopes for s good cup
run.

Swans went down 3-1 at Tottenham last night against a
very strong team with resources that ended Swansea's 4 game
unbeaten run.
manager "ColinW" was disappointed with the performance from his
players as he felt they gave away too much possession and
despite taking a lead in the 1st minute from Hoogland let the
game get away from them and paid the price at the final
whistle...
The travelling fans were also disappointed Swans did not show
their true potential on the night, the team needs to bounce back
quick if they want to make a top four finish this season.
Games against Manchester United, Aston Villa and Liverpool
coming up the team will need to dig deep and play much better to
pick up points from those matches.

Great Saturday night for Swansea City, the fans and
manager "ColinW" as they beat Tottenham 3-1 in the FA Cup to
reach the semi finals with Demba Ba again on target in a good
performance of passing football from the Swans.
This was backed up by a stunning 3-1 win over Manchester United
at the Liberty Stadium with Demba Ba bagging his 12th goal in 14
matches as the Swans bounced back in the league and just off the
top four places and European football next season.
The manager was delighted with his players and made it clear to
them after the United win and applauding the fans....
Some fans were sad to see J Obi and Caicedo leave the club and
join Wolves, but excitement as Luke Shaw, midfielder Jorginho
and Brazilian striker Ademilson arrived from Wolves.
Shaw is a good solid full back with pace and good crosser of the
ball, Jorginho is a good box to box midfielder and gives the
manager options defensively and attacking from midfield. In
Ademilson, the club have a good young Brazilian striker who can
score goals, has pace and can hold up the ball and should link
well with Demba Ba.
