new utd manager has spoke for the 1st time about taking over
this superb club . this is a dream job for me i have been a man
utd fan since i was a boy and once i knew the job was free i had
to go for it . this is a very talented team with the likes of de
gea hummels nani and rooney etc . i want us to be up there
challenging for the league and for trophies but my 1st aim is to
finish in the top 4 and try get european football

THE UTD MANAGER has spoke about his start at the club . i have
been happy about aspects of this team like going forward and
scoring we dont have a problem there which was proved in the
liverpool game were we scored 6 against them yes 6 . but yet
again we did concede 3 game and have done nearly every game
since i took over which i am not happy with so i need to sort
that side of the team out .
i have also done my 1st transfer since i took over and this is
one ready for next season as i have managed to bring in
P_Bamford 22 eng 1 3 5 26 28 300 307 315 478
for 50 mil pounds which may be a bit steep but
he is only 22 and has plenty of time on his side to develop and
this signing is ready for next season cause i want to reduce the
age of my striker force . i will do what ever it takes to make
this team succesful and my 1st aim is to finish in the top 4 .
this is the top 4 as it stands

we have the worse defence out of the top 4 and once i fix that i
am happy but we are still in with a shout for the title race as
we are only 4 points of top spot so at the moment all we can do
is keep winning and hopefully we can move up the table and try
aim for the top spot . things are going ok at the moment but we
could do better so lets try improve for the final few games and
try keep it tight at 1 end and score at the other end .

things are going well for us at the moment and since i have
took over w ehave improved and scoring goals for fun i am also
trying to keep it tight at the other end when i took over we had
played 10 games now we are on 17 games our worst performance was
the game v swansea
Swansea City 3 - 1 Manchester United
T_Hoogland (6) M_Ozil (26)
R_Soldado (50) A_Lacazette (sent off 37)
Demba_Ba (58) M_Hummels (sent off 81)
this was a very poor result and i knew i needed to improve big
time but since then we have improved
drawing with teams like portsmouth and beating liverpool . b
but our last 2 games proves we are finding our feet now winning
both games 4 1 and now the table looks like this

very close at the top and can we catch arsenal well lets give it

more transfer news coming out of old trafford as i splashed out
a whopping 200 mil to bring 2 world class players to the club
and both arriving from 1 of my rivals so the players arriving
are
P_Pogba 23 fra 1 5 29 7 32 378 748 362 500
Ivan_Rakitic 31 cro 2 5 28 5 30 425 46 9 950
these 2 players have made my midfeild even stronger now more
options but i am looking to next season more then this with
these new signings as i thinking of changing formation but they
will hopefully help us at least stay i nthe top for and qualify
for europe but lets try win the league and see if splashing out
all that money pays off .but after these 2 signings players will
have to leave now as i have a huge squad and also to bring some
more money into the club to improve elsewhere . but for now i
am very happy to get these players as both bring different stuff
to the club pogba is only 23 and has plenty of time to improve
and should do that along side nani ozil etc , and rakitic has
plenty of experience to help the likes of pogba draxler xhaka .
so i am very happy the way my team is coming along and hopefully
next time out we can have better results

its judgement weekend as we 3 important games that will define
our season .
1st up 2 league games 1 after the other and these games will
decide were the title goes 1st up is

its 1st v 2nd a huge game and 1 neither team can afford to lose
so we have to go out there get stuck in and keep playing until
the final whistle and get at least a draw we cant afford to lose
otherwise the title could be over then our 2nd game is

another huge game were villa sit in 3rd so we couldnt off asked
for a tougher run in this will again decide were we finish in
the table and were my team is at . is my team ready are my team
up for the challenge of these 2 games hopefully they are and
again we cant afford to lose this game we have to win our home
games but this is a very hard task as villa are also going for
the title so we have to be up for the fight and give everything
we have if we want to stand a chance of winning the league . so
we could lose both games and could finish 5th which would be a
dissapointment but we could also win both games and win the
league so its all to play for but can we handle the pressure can
my players handle the pressurs only time will tell

so after the 2 league games we have another huge game and a very
tough game as we have to play in the champions league semi
final v

they battered arsenal in the last round so this is a very tough
ask and again we have to be on the ball if we want anything from
this game . i want to go to ajax with a 2nd leg lead and
hopefully healthy lead but the main thing is to still be in with
a shout in the 2nd leg . so it could be great weekend winning
all 3 games or we could have apoor weekend and lose all 3 which
would be a disaster but hopefully that wont happen . so lets go
out they give our all and play with passion pride and prove that
we want to be winners

so with the league season over we fell short by 1 point but it
wasnt the draw with arsenal that cost us the title it was the
defeats by swansea and wigan that cost us if we won them we
would of won the league . but my main aim when i took over utd
was to stay i nthe top 4 and qualify for europe and i have done
that by coming 2nd which i am happy with . its not over yet as
we have to face ajax in the champions league which is 2 legs as
we aim to reach my 1st final since i took over as utd boss but
its going to be very hard as i have 3 of my best players out for
the 1st leg and 1 for the 2nd leg i have
M_Ozil and M_Reus out for the 1st leg and my new signing
P_Pogba out for 4 games so he will miss both semi,s and the
final if we reach it which is a blow but i htink i have a good
enough team to cope .
so the plan for next season is to bring a couple more quality
players in to add depth and thats it dont really need that many
, i just have to reduce the size of my squad as well and
hopefully i can get rid of some players as well . but for now
lets concentrate on the ajax game

my 1st season in charge finishes with a champions league final
match against real madrid which is a very tough game but a
winnable one .
i am delighted to reach a final in my 1st match in charge and
its the big 1 the champions league final the best european
competiton to win and its the 1 that everyone wants to win so
lets go out there and compete with madrid and give it everything
and try and win the game
madrid have some world class players like isco van persie
neymar just to name a few so its the toughest game we could of
asked for , but this game will tell me were my team is out and
how far we have come .
i have everyone fit and raring to go and everyone wants to play
in this game so i will leave my line up to the last minute and
my formation as i want to win this game like i want to win
every game and it will be a huge acheivement in my 1st season in
charge by winning this match

the manager sit,s in the dugout contemplating the game after utd
came so close to winning it losing out on pens which is a
lottery . we should of won in full time the amount of chances we
had we should of sealed the win but we didnt and the 2 strikers
i had should know better . a huge game like this you have to
take your chances and we got punished and lose out in the
biggest game of the season . so my 1st season in charge we was
the nearly men coming 2nd in the league and 2nd in the champions
league is hard to take knowing we was so close to getting a
double but in the end we won nothing . but take heart that i got
that close in my 1st season in charge and not even a full season
more like half a season and hopefully we can bounce back next
season and win a trophy . now its time to think about my team
and what i need to bring in to make them even better and also
try bring some younger players to the club . but for now lets
take some time out and get ready for next season

so its the 1st pre season game tonight and we go to
huddersfield as i try a new formation and leave some players out
to see if we can cope with some big names so this is the line up
for my 1st pre season game

so i will be trying a 3 5 2 formation and with no podolski and
rooney see if we can perform with them and my 2 new signings
young keeper
mccaleb on the bench along with oduwa and jese this is a chance
for everyone to earn a starting spot for next season and to see
if this formation does work and if it doesnt i will try a
different one in my next pre season game until i am happy so all
i ask is a good performance from my team and i will take it from
there
