Villa fans excited for tonight's Premier League clash with
Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane and looking to close the
gap of 5pts on leaders Arsenal. Lavezzi and York lead the
attack and youngster is revelling in playing at the starting 11
and partnering Lavezzi who has a knack for scoring goals and
being in the right place.
York is definately the future at 19 year old and as pace and
developing very well at the club, another young star in the
making is Odegaard.
Odegaard has showed he has class and good passing skills, and
will be looking to make his mark on the team and more youngsters
to join in through the season. Manager "Stevie" has come out
and said he would like to bring in more young talent and develop
the Villa youth system.
We understand the club have scouts looking for potential
targets and signings could be imminent,

Villa boss "Stevie" was disappointed at the final
whistle in Carabao Cup Quarter Final as they were knocked out by
Tottenham 4-3.
The match was a very tight affair between two good sides, but
Villa found themselves 2-0 down in the first 10mins and was a
tough task to try and turn that around....
Young rising star Raphael York again showing his class with 2
goals and Man of the Match and new signing Harry Kane also
scored. But the managers was very angry with his midfield
players who failed to perform on the night and with Villa going
out because of that.
There were heated words in the tunnel after the match as the
boss was clearly upset with his midfield players, and the chance
of lifting this trophy has gone for this season. Now back to
focusing on the league title challenge.

Aston Villa came so close missing out on the Premier
League title by 2pts, but fans were delighted with the season,
which sees Villa return to European Football next season and
finishing 3rd in the Premier League.
After the 3-2 win over Spur everyone knew they just need to beat
United but the players let the club down massively by not really
turning up only having 25% possession as United strolled to a
3-0 victory which ended Villa's title hopes...
Villa did win 4 of their last 6 games, but 2 defeats in last 3
games ultimately cost the title, but manager "Stevie" said he
was happy with the club and the way they have pushed forward and
everyone should be happy with 3rd place finish. They finished
above Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham so thats progress and a
good season, in Season 8 they finished 8th in the relegation
playoff and stayed up. So to finish 3rd is a big improvement
and now the club will look to back the manager ready for another
league title challenge in Season 10.
Young Raphael York has been find of the season, the 17 year old
Swedish striker scored 15 goals in 27 games, Lavezzi had his
best season with 34 goals in 31 games and with Cristiano Ronaldo
just arrived too next season Villa will have firepower to
trouble defenses.
