New business

I've seen many local businesses go in the 20 years I've had my
shop. Happily, it is rarely long before a new one is in the
premises.
This has just occurred again in the block opposite - and it's a
good spot for a shop. High visibility, with thousands of cars
and buses passing daily.
But....why not have a sign saying what the shop sells?
'Moodles' has opened, and I wish them all good fortune. But
that's all the sign says - just the name. I can't tell what
they sell, and with the security shutter down I can't see what
they sell.
Huge promotional opportunity lost. :'(

Has anyone popped in to welcome them and let them know there's a
chance to let them join GR Ltd and the forum?
When I first appeared back in July I only knew because Peter
Browne popped in to tell me about the BID meeting happening down
the road. If it hadn't been for the BID I wouldn't have had a
clue.
Perhaps there could be some sort of arrangement either with the
committee or whichever trader is next door to the new business
to pop in and tell them what's what? I had the wonderful Dominic
from 2 doors down at Do Lii's who gave me a few tips - everyone
should have a Dom :)

I tried to phone, but they didn't answer...I might welcome them
next time I'm passing.
I won't mention GR Ltd; it doesn't want us, at this end of the
road. :(
