On the way to work

I am lucky enough to walk through St Andrews park on the way to
work. A few minutes of communing with nature before the grind
of the day. :)
From time to time I see apparently unattended dogs fouling the
grass - probably belonging to one of the walkers in the
distance, chatting to a friend, resolutely not watching their
pet.
This morning, though, I saw something new. Just outside the
gate to the children's playground, a dog squatted and fouled the
path. The owner quickly bent down and covered the faeces with a
large fallen leaf, then walked on. When I challenged the owner,
she admitted she had nothing with her to clean it up with.
Lady, small children just love to skip along kicking fallen
leaves. It's one of the joys of autumn.
Cleaning dog mess off their shoes is not. >:(
