Being a person interested in energy this punches a lot of boxes
for me. Reusing battery packs from older leafs to feed the grid
and displace peaker plants which are the worst of the worst
emissions wise. I don't think the whole grid can be replaced by
this kind of tech personally but the same technology that allows
this make islanded micro grids possible which allows for smaller
pocket of a stable grid.
