What a SPECTACULARLY bad idea!
If/When Vlad the Impaler decides to roll tanks into Ukraine,
FSoA troops will confront them DIRECTLY?!?! Right on the border
with Mother Russia? That cannot possibly work to do anything
but either lose badly or start an all out war in Europe which
nobody can win.
The sabre rattling has reached a fever pitch.

I believe the best rhyme to the Ukraine situation is WWI.
Perhaps the assassination of a Ukrainian politician by a Serb
would start a repeat of WWI. Again capitalism needs a war.
Like then, like now.

At least in WWI the doughboys could hunker down in trenches.
You could ship in reinforcements. The planes were made of wood
and cloth.
Every troop movement and position is known by both sides. If
the FSoA flies planes off a carrier in the Mediterrainian, how
long before a few cruise missiles sink it? How many LNG tankers
make it across the Atlantic to supply Europe with gas?
Vlad demanded NATO get OUT of the Baltics. They are doing the
exact opposite, sending more hardware and more grunts.
It's just incomprehensibly stupid, but yea capitalism does need
a war.
In the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Ruskies backed down. I don't
see them backing down on their own border. It's hard to find a
face-saving solution to this confrontation.

What never gets reported in western media about the Cuban
missile crisis is that the US backed down just as much, by
agreeing to remove it's own missiles elsewhere. That type of
misinformation is why at all times and especially around
election years, whatever side of politics is not in power always
seeks reelection on the issue of the current president 'not
being tough enough/not standing up to/weak on/getting pushed
around by/puppet of, Russia' and now also china.
The Europeans thenselves were not even observers in the recent
talks, just the US and Russia. The euros don't have much of the
troops or hardware involved, so get no say in their own future.
We can't have them making concessions to get their gas back
either.
Just days ago I heard an announcement that if Russia invades
Ukraine, Biden will impose more sanctions. They never mention
that Putin says he will only go in if they try and station nukes
there.

They have now increased the possible deployments to 8500 troops
"on alert".
NATO has always depended on mainly the FSoA MIC for hardware and
personnel. All the other NATO countries have puny armies. Ever
since WWII and the Cold War, its always been a tripartite contes
of FSoA, Russia and China. "Spheres of Influence" were hammered
out at Yalta, but with the collapse of the Soviet Union, NTO has
been moving in to former Soviet States. Putin sees that as a
threat, which it is even more on the economic level than
military.

Ukraine Bullshyt Clarifications.
By: RE Date: January 25, 2022, 2:32 am

The latest in dick waving.
The 8500 possible FSoA reinforcements will not actually go in
and fight invading Ruskies. They will support othe Eastern
Europe NATO states (Lithuania, Estonia etc) to keep Vlad from
invading them too. Which at the moment I doubt he has any plans
to do.
If the Euros want to go in and defend the Ukies, apparently they
have 40K grunts at their disposal. That's including ALL
countries, UK, France, Germany, Spain, etc. That is 1/3rd the
current number Vlad the Impaller already has on the front line.
Do you think the French will send in the Foreign Legion to save
the Ukies?
HTML https://i.pinimg.com/originals/ed/aa/e0/edaae050d8d5d8e7e578aa09368382f7.jpg
I don't. I don't think the Germans will send in the Hitler
Youth either.
So, at this point I don't think Vlad will invade, he will arm
the rebels in Donetsk and Lugansk to the teeth, and work to
foment another color revolution in Ukraine. That's how the FSoA
got the current regime into power. Tit for tat.
"Sanctions" are pretty laughable. We won't sell any software to
them. So what? They'll just pirate it. We won't sell them any
chips. So what. The Chinese will. On the other hand, if Vlad
cuts off ALL the gas to Europe, we'll need a pretty big parade
of LNG tankers across the Atlantic to make up that deficit.
Not even touching the Cyberwar hacking that might go on here.
Either side that starts dropping bombs is an idiot. The
military bluster is a show. Of course, one misstep by either
side, and it goes blooey.

Putin has stated clearly the condition he will go into Ukraine,
it just doesn't get reported in western msm. That is if ukr is
armed with nukes. The US wants to edge toward a first strike
advantage, also wants to try and bankrupt and keep bogged down
Russia in a quagmire. They also really want to try and cut
Russias influence in the security council and globally. If they
can get them to be the invading imperialists restoring the old
cold war border, so much the better. The alternative financial
system to swift they have set up is a big motivator for
desperate times calling for desperate measures.
