One of the most enduring myths around a motorcycle in the
industry is the reason this Harley Davidson classic was named
the “Fat Boy” is that it was named after the bombs dropped over
Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The theory is that the name is derived
by combining the names of the two bombs that were dropped namely
“Fat Man” and “Little Boy” and also the color of fat boy
resembles the Bockscar B-29 and Enola Gay bombers that carried
out the attack. <-- the color coincidence thing is a hail Mary
pass and a complication from Occam's view as will be seen.
Now, this does seem like a real reason to which the motorcycle
was named after, after all, how can you disagree with that many
examples of how it was named after that incident. However, it is
just a theory and the truth behind the name “Fat Boy” is quite
simple.

The main reason that it is called a “Fat Boy” is that it is a
big bike and it does happen to be on the fat side when looked at
it head-on. When compared to other motorcycles, this bike is
actually fat or big if you want to call it that. It could have
been a great reason to name it after the atomic bombs but it was
not and its just simply called a Fat Boy because it is a fat boy
so to speak.
Occam's razor says the name happened because the boy is fat.

Plausible deniability also says the Podesta emails were about
literally setting up dominos on hot dogs, pizza and pasta.
There are fatter hogs like the road glide, that don't have
wheels designed like the B29, colour of the B29, USAF style tank
badge and yellow rings all over like the bombs.

When I first saw one the rear tire was the fattest tire that I
ever saw on a motorcycle to that time. The boy was fat.

* I went through all the calculations in a naive Bayesian
classifier today. It makes me think of how things match up to
show common relationships. And how we as humans often get
things wrong.
Forget having to be the fattest. The fat boy is fat. That is
enough. Now, relating it to the issues of yellow rings, a
winged badge, and the color of silver.
B-29's were bare aluminum, not painted. They were shiny. as all
unpainted airplanes were in 1945. So is chrome. Metal is
shiny.
A winged badge. A Bayesian classifier would see not much
difference here. Many motorcycles and cars have similar winged
badges. Winged insignias for airplane related organizations are
also common. A match here means no more than the shine of bare
aluminum.
The yellow rings are not comparable at all.
Multiply likelihoods of enough matching characteristics in
together and a case of circumstantial evidence can become
compelling.
Not this time. The matching characteristics are not uncommon
enough to suggest a relationship and there are not enough of
them to multiply together to generate stochastic confidence.
No cigar, but Sherlock's pipe yes.

That's why they painted another fat boy bright yellow then.
Wings are everywhere and so are wheels, just not these
particular wings and wheels design.
HD were used in both world wars, first bikers were WW2 vets..
maybe why no Japanese maker also went so far out of their way to
create an un-pc conspiracy theory

The possibility that a Loose Cannon state like NK or Iran could
trigger global war between the Big 3 exists, but is also
unlikely IMHO. If the NKs truly threatened the FSoA, the
Chinese would throttle them in a bg hurry. This because of the
interdependency of the two economies. If the Iranians went
rogue, The Ruskies would likely throttle them. Or the Big 3
would gang up on them, then split the country up between
themselves, like the Ruskies and the FSoA did with Europe after
WWII. Economic "spheres of influence".
The whole economic model has so many interdependencies that any
one of the Big 3 failing brings down the other 2 with it. I
posted an article over in the economics thread about how China
failing will bring down the whole world economy. The Illuminati
certainly don't want that. That's where all the wealth comes
from for the people at the top of the Pyramid.

US is only 330m, of the whole world market that china supplies..
that's something around 5% of it in population, although they
would do a lot more than 5% of consuming. Trump learned it the
hard way in starting and losing the trade war. The pig virus
that forced china to buy us pork at the time? You get the same
exact thing here, 'we don't need them, they need us!!!!', then
when they source primary produce elsewhere, we complain to the
WTO.
Iran is very restrained really, like all Israel's neighbours
frequently attacked at will. but they will kick off when
everyone else does, same with NK reunifying Korea and hitting
Japan, because the US has its hands full. All around the world
conflicts that are kept in check can take their course. Iran, NK
and Russia are under attack by sanctions all the time.
The people at the top of the pyramid also have goals of one
govt, sustainability and a lot less people. There are big
changes underway and I don't believe in the promise of
sustainable growth.

Doom stories in the MSM are definitely far more preevalent today
than when we began the Diner, as is Doom Awareness in the
general population. You have to be damn Stupid not to get it by
now. The awareness doesn't help much though, because it's too
late to rectify the problem. Even on the individual level it's
hard to rectify for most people, they don't have the money to
buy a Doomstead.
Thus the reaction tends to be one of Capitulation and
Depression. So you get more Suicides, more Drug Overdoses and
more Futile Actions protesting against oncoming collapse.
Stupid Politicians do more Stupid things to try to pacify the
Stupid Population. Smart people wail about the problems, to no
avail. Infinite Growth is impossible, infinite Stupidity is
not.
The Climate problems continue to spiral out of control, this
week both the East & West Coasts of the FSoA were innundated
again, with more rain and flash flooding to come. It's pretty
Stupid to deny Climate change when your house goes floating down
river.
Currently, I am not in pain, I have plenty to eat, a roof over
my head, lights on and the furnace pumping out heat, a flushing
toilet and a recliner to sleep on, or just close my eyes and
meditate. My Mantra keeps me calm.
You can't fix stupid.

Russia planning massive military offensive against Ukraine
involving 175000 troops, U.S. intelligence warns
Geopolitical analysis abounds here, but the 2 main issues are
clear. Ukraine is a big food production area, and it also is a
pipeline transit country for energy.
Will he actually INVADE? That seems risky. On the other hand,
would NATO and the FSoA actually try to stop it with military
force? Also risky. Sanctions are discussed, but what sanctions
would be effective? Vlad holds the Energy High Card.

This Invasion seems like a forgone conclusion to me. Vlad the
Impaler is not going to put 150,00 Ruskie Grunts on the front
line and just leave them sitting there cooling their heels.
What is the counter-threat from the FSoA and NATO? SANCTIONS!
lol. I am sure Vlad is quaking in his boots. ::) He holds the
HIGH CARD on sanctions. He can switch off the gas to Europe
with a click of the touchpad on his laptop. What does Mother
Russia really need from the West? Not a whole lot I can think
of.
Why hit Ukraine? FOOD for one thing. It's like the grain belt
of the FSoA, they produce a huge amount of grain. It's also a
transit country for Ruskie energy going to Western Europe. It
also provides a bigger buffer zone on the military level between
MR and NATO.
This does of course up the stakes on a geopolitical level. Like
Hitler rolling over the Sudetanland, what's to stop him from
rolling over Poland next? Then Hungary, then Austria...then
GERMANY! Appeasement won't work forever. Forget the Tanks and
the Grunts. When do they launch the HEAVY ARTILLERY? No, not
Nukes. Just Cruise Missiles. When do the Cyber attacks start
on infrastructure? What will the Chinese do?
