Very little. We have started doing some salad greens in trays
under lights for winter but right now we are building a house
and renting an apartment so not much gardening. Lots of stews
and dishes less cuts of meat. No penny pinching.

Hopefully sometime this winter... Rental digs are ok but the new
place is really shaping up nicely.

The food situation is definitely looking ugly out there.
Afghans are selling their kids to buy food. At least they're
       not eating them yet.
Maine has declared food to be a Human Right. A Need definitely,
but does just needing something to live make it a right? You
need shelter also, so does everyone have a right to housing? In
cold climates you need heat for the winter so does everyone have
       a right to fuel?
What about the rest of the animals on earth? Don't they have a
right to food also? Don't plants have a right to fertile soil to
grow in and plenty of water?
Who hands out these rights? The Maine legislature?

To Fertilize or not fertilize? That is the dieoff question.

Not currently a major story, but by Spring planting season and
Fall harvest next year in the Northern Hemisphere will likely be
much more in the MSM Newz. This indicator lags behind the NG
shortage, which is more immediate on the heating & electricity
       level for winter.

       The Great Organic-Food Fraud
By: RE Date: November 10, 2021, 12:50 am

Of course all you Permies know this, but it is a good reminder
of how gullible people are when bombarded with propaganda.
About the only food I would trust to be organic was if I knew
the person who grew it. Definitely nothing sold commercially in
the Food Superstresrstores. Which is why I never buy anything
with the "organic" label. There's always a price premium for
it, and it's probably only marginally healthier for you, if at
       all.

       Randy Constant indeed;
The statement, which Constant didn’t read in court, noted,
“During the course of my travel to Las Vegas, I developed sexual
relationships with three women for whom I provided support and
for whom I paid some expenses.” It went on, “I transferred over
       $2,000,000 to entities related to these women. . . . I also
shared a bank account with one of these women from which, over a
period of more than one year, approximately $110,000 was used to
pay for her car payments and insurance, plastic surgery in the
form of breast augmentation, travel to Spain, and other bills
       and expenses.”
Defence should have filed for a mistrial on grounds that these
are charitable contributions and what happens in Vegas stays in
       Vegas.
