Robot Farms
By: RE Date: January 30, 2022, 6:11 am
---------------------------------------------------------
As long as there is enough energy available to run this
equipment and enough microchips to manufacture the robots, this
is inevitable on the Industrial Ag level. Obviously, such
machines will be way outside the budget of the family farmer. A
small farm couldn't possibly compete on the commercial level.
Small farming is just about providing food resilience in this
scenario, it's not economically viable as a business faced with
this transition.
The question is, for how long will those 2 requirements hold
true, and how often will these robots break down and/or need to
be replaced?

Fire at an N Carolina fertilizer plant. This when many farmers
are already unable to afford fertilizer for corn. Farmers are
planting soybeans instead but there is a seed shortage.

[/quote]their currency is down. There would be higher profits
selling it abroad so the ban is probably more of a domestic
stability issue so the domestic farmers don't get their
fertilizer sold out from under them.

Industry Overview
Ammonium Nitrate Market size was over USD 14.5 billion in 2020
and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.3% from 2021 to 2027
owing to the rising demand to produce adequate food coupled with
growing concerns of arable land across the globe and rapid
population growth has continuously encouraged the adoption of
quality fertilizers to secure the food demand.
But I can't find out how much Russia was exporting.
