       Food Errata
By: RE Date: October 2, 2021, 2:53 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
The UK is apparently facing a mass culling of Pigs due to...a
Butcher Shortage!!! Sadly for Homo Sap Brit Bacon-Eaters, there
are not enough of them around who are still working and who know
how to carve up a pig to provide the Brits with their daily dose
of Sausage or Ham or Baby Back Ribs or Pork Chops or of course
that most coveted breakfast meat, BACON!
I guess along with all the Eastern European Truck Drivers who
have gone home since Covid and Brexit, the Butchers also got on
       the train with them?
What will Amerikans do when our Butcher class of Peasants don't
show up for work? No more Bacon Cheeseburgers! AAACCCKKK!
CEOs are apparently beside themselves trying to answer the
imponderable quandary of "How do we get these Peasants back to
WORK ??? ". Without paying them more money of course, because
       that would drive up inflation.
What about the egg picker-uppers in the Chicken Farms? I don't
think there is a robot that does that job yet. No more Bacon OR
Eggs for breakfast!!! Why aren't the Brits using Self-Driving
Trucks produced by Elon Musk yet? Do we have Robotic Mexicans
to pick the Lettuce? We need to plan for this contingency!
What are the Brits going to do with all the Pigs they Cull? Do
they have enough Truck Drivers left to haul them away? What
about Grave Diggers to bury the Pig Carcasses? Are there enough
of them left who haven't died of Covid or gone back to Bulgaria?
What will this mean for Pork Belly Futures on the Chicago COMEX?
Should I Sell Bitcoin and Buy Pork Bellies? How can I best
insure my financial future and my Retirement? Should I invest
in Chinese Real Estate? Can I short an ETF for African Dead
       People?
       Stock up on Bacon.

The way the Netherlands grows food is the way everybody will be
growing food eventually, because of climate change. But without

When I first started being interested in cryptos, one idea I had
was that it would be nice to own stock in some company that just
made money of the crypto market, rather than taking all the
risks of putting my money on the blockchain. I could not find
any good ones at the time. Now I think there is one. Silverlake
Capital. I think it’s a little overpriced, but if we have an
October crash, I might buy a little, just for fun.

[/quote]greenhouses growing cukes, tomatoes, lettuce in the
middle of winter with gas heat and lights would be a logical
place for peak energy to rear it's head. Since moving to the
apartment as we build the house we have installed a 2ft x4 ft by
6 ft shelving unit covered in mylar with grow lights. We tried
cherry tomatoes and cukes but settled on trays of lettuce
instead. Fresh lettuce all winter hopefully and no trucking and
all the waste heat stays inside ...

China's crypto ban could free up more energy than Finland uses
       in a year.
"The reasons for China’s increasingly severe bans on crypto
range from its role as a vehicle for money laundering and
smuggling, to environmental pollution and the intensive
electricity used in mining for bitcoin.

You are the one bringing us info on Chinese blackouts. You can
       do the math.

I have always considered Crypto to be Techno-fantasy garbage.
Yes, I know the Winkelvoss Twins became Bitcoin Billionaires
after losing the battle with Suckerbug over Facepalm. And who
knows, maybe you could make Billions again here in this idiotic
fantasy when everything else in the market crashes? The whole
concept is even more pathetic than Gold. You certainly CANNOT
eat Bitcoins! lol. Even Gold coins have more nutritional
       value!
Bitcoin mining is even more power intensive than reducing
Aluminum out of Bauxite, and that takes gobs of electrons to
pull off. At least you get Aluminum Foil out of that process
       thoiugh.
In the aftermath of Ida there were numerous interviews with
people trying to buy Ice, price gouged out at $5/bag. Problem
to buy it, all the power and cell phone towers were out, so
nobody's Bankcard worked. So unless you had a $5 FRN Note, you
       were SOL.
Do you think Power Blackouts will be more or less prevalent
moving forward on the timeline? How useful is Electronic Money
of any sort worth if you have no electricity?

Well, when Grandma dies of Covid, you can always Roast her for
Dinner. :) Can I have the Leg please? Dr. Fauci recommends you
use a Meat Thermometer and cook to 165F to be sure you kill any
Covid virus in the meat. Also, remember to wear your Mask while
eating and get Vaxxed before and after Dinner.

Every Anti-Vaxer should have one. Remember to visit Grandma the
day you stop smelling things. You can keep her in the freezer
if Thanksgiving is too far away. Cook under a low heat for a
long time. She is a tough old bird.
