Real Estate Errata

What is this guy's "long term solution" to the mortgage & rent
moratorium? MORE LOANS!!! hahahahaha. :D
What the solution REALLY is is for landlords to default on their
mortgages, banks to write down their losses and rents reduced to
what people can actually afford to pay, which in general is
probably about 1/3rd of what they currently receive in public
assistance benefits. This could well decrease however as the
energy costs to heat & light the place and then also buy food
increase.
This of course spells a massive DEPRESSION, which TPTB
desperately are seeking to avoid by further inflating the money
supply with more (irredeemable) debt.
...and the beat goes on...

Quite a disconnect from reality in that Politico Article.
People don't pay back rent in America. The sheriff either shows
up to evict you or you skeddaddle in the middle of the night.
Both way bygones are bygones. Broke ass people don't pay for
when they are broke, they never have they are not going to
start now.

Ahhhh Miss, That check you said was in the mail did not get to
Mr. Buffet.
A person down on their luck for any reason is likely not going
to recover. The idea that someone who can't pay their rent
today will be able to pay back a loan AND pay new rent while
they are paying back the loan it is ludicrous.

Subway, McDonalds and other major league corporations stayed
open through lockdown, individual take away shops and
restaurants closed. The same principle in Rental Property is
planned. All your bamanas is ours. The banks or other too big to
fail entities in real estate are fixin to rake in the chips from
small private investors/landlords.

“No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket,
take the ride…and if it occasionally gets a little heavier than
what you had in mind, well…maybe chalk it up to forced
consciousness expansion: Tune in, freak out, get beaten.”
and all our bamanas is theirs

It is of course ridiculous wishful thinking to believe 99% of
the people who currently cannot pay their rent would be able to
pay BOTH rent and a LOAN for back rent. This is just a gimmick
to try and extend and pretend some more, and keep the banks and
the monetary system solvent for another day. Also stupid is to
believe you could evict all these people and find NEW renters
who could somehow afford the old rents the prior renter could
not afford. With this plan you just end up with more homeless
people and unoccupied dwellings, and landlords still going
broke. The prices have to come down, the property market has to
crash. Nobody except the renters wants THAT though! lol.
Eventually I suspect the low income housing will all be
federally subsidised like the place I live. Small time
landlords who own McHovels for rent will likely have the most
problems. Those landlords will probably go BK and their
properties picked up at auction by hedge funds, who will then
get a subsidy to rent them out at lower prices.
This is a very tough market to fake. If people don't have the
money to pay the rents, they just don't have it. Only da
goobermint can print more money to keep the prices up and keep
the landlords from going BK and the banks solvent.
