It does however seem like a good time to keep your gas tank and
all your Jerry Cans topped off.

About a month ago I had a seasick adventure to Flinders Island,
flew back. I noticed about 20 wind turbines in the ocean and
wondered what benefit they would be when Tasmania has oversupply
of hydroelectric power unless a severe drought, the island only
has about 600 people, and Melbourne would be about 1000km away.
Those were at least turning, unlike all these standing still.

Thanks for posting this link, PP. I'd heard about the
documentary. I watched the first 20 minutes or so and will
finish it later. Corruption is the system.
Unfortunate you got sick. I looked up Flinders Island. My kind
of place as long as one doesn't have to live in town.

being useful to people...then work which one hopes may be of
some use; then rest, nature, books, music, love for one's
neighbor - such is my idea of happiness." - Leo Tolstoy

Due to fuel shortages, China rations diesel

Due to fuel shortages, China rations diesel
HTML https://www.wionews.com/world/due-to-fuel-shortages-china-rations-diesel-424700
With China already rationing, can the FSoA be far behind? The
Food Starvation problem seems so far mostly confined to the 3rd
World, but China is no longer a 3rd World country. It's the 2nd
largest economy in the world Yet while food starvation doesn't
yet seem to be a problem there (at least none reported in the
MSM so far), energy starvation already is.
Besides Diesel, ordinary J6P now has to wait DAYS for a tank
fillup of petrol. Brilliantly, the Long Game planning Chinese
are ramping up their own (cheaper than Tesla) EVs, except how
drivers will charge these gadgets is unknown, since the
electricity is out for days at a time also. That is with the
current load on the grid. Imagine the load adding just 10M EVs
onto the Chinese highways!
Smog is BACK in Beijing as they fire up more coal generating
plants to get the lights back on, but of course they compete
with the Indians for coal supplies, as we compete with them for
diesel and gasoline. This is not a "supply chain breakdown",
it's a SUPPLY breakdown. Too many engines and generators
globally to feed, and not enough food to go round. This is what
Energy Starvation looks like.
Is there a light at the end of the tunnel to the creeping
darkness? Some Stupid Energy Analysts tell us YES, it will get
better in 2022. There is an Oil build and prices are dropping
again after blowing past the $80 mark, the general breaking
point for industrial economies. Other SEAs predict a blowout of
Oil Prices to $200/bbl. So the traders bet on whichever
scenario they buy into on a given day, and the market bounces
around like a punch drunk boxer on Qaaludes. Either way the
market contracts (or degrows if you prefer).
There is a light at the end of the tunnel though.

This is just heart breaking, 90s Supra in the storm yesterday.
Golf ball size hail wrecked crops, glass houses and wind damage
across 4 states, including here. Still some power outages, wind
was all southerly.
