improvement as the risk of death/long covid is greatly
diminished. If you are unvaccinated then I don't think the risks
are worthwhile particularly if immunity is does not last as
       long.

date=1636661083] Extreme coercion was required to achieve more
than about 50% Vax rate anywhere. You say take-up of boosters
could wane, when the same pressures are still being applied and
increased. Is refusing to take boosters because of increasing
awareness of risk of side effects, or minor political parties
who end the mandates getting power, or necessity of being
immunocompromised? Why would the same people who took it to be
allowed to participate in the economy and society or healthcare
system the first time, not do so again?
       >
       --- End Quote ---
Extreme coercion was not applied everywhere. At least in the UK
I have not had to prove my vaccination anywhere be it work or
I'm restaurants/bars or any other private establishment. The
only thing you could say is the use of masks on the London
underground but considering enforcement of mask wearing is
nonexistent then it isn't really a burden.
As for the reduction in people taking boosters, I don't think it
will be due fears of side-effects; it will simply be that people
get tired following health guidelines. People can only comply to
rules for so long before slipping into old habits. I do think
the risks are the covid vaccine are being overblown.

I wasn't using 'worst flu ever' as code for c19, just seasonal
flu. Wondering if the unvaxed also experience it as equally
debilitating, or no worse than usual. Should become clearer in a
       couple of months
Very odd that they achieved such a high rate of compliance there
without any threat of green pass like most of EU, or employer
mandates, other than Scottish bars after midnight and talk of
healthcare and other careworkers I'm aware of.
Elsewhere though, Nov 24 is end date for non essential retail in
Vic. If U can't work, u can't shop non essential anyway. Bars,
restos, gyms that were all closed, only opened for vaxd about a
month prior in Sydney. Singapore just went ahead with banning
unvaxed from hospitals as I said Qld is putting forward. Luckily
police and military are no longer putting people in hospital,
they have given up and don't attend, crowds are massive, but
       being ignored.
Hospitals are too full to take any bashed protestors anyway.
Politicians admit that, but say they don't know why, one
suggestion is people neglected their health during the pandemic.
That should be easy to believe for anyone who already accepts
the govt rationale for the mandates.

       Worldwide vaccine failure
From Singapore to the Netherlands to Iceland to Vermont. And
coming soon to the entire northern half of the United States.
This is not how it was supposed to go.
Deaths hitting new highs in Singapore (85% of the population
fully vaccinated - NOT adults, the entire population):

"Most Vaccinated" Nation On Earth Cancels Christmas Over Surge
       In COVID Cases
  HTML https://www.gibraltar.gov.gi/press-releases/rise-in-active-covid-19-cases-public-urged-to-be-cautious-and-reduce-mixing-8452021-7433
In response to this sudden surge in COVID cases, the government
of Gibraltar recently announced that “official Christmas
parties, official receptions and similar gatherings” have been
canceled, and advised the public to avoid social events and
parties for the next four weeks. Outdoor spaces are recommended
over indoor ones, touching and hugging is discouraged, and mask
       wearing is advised.
“The drastic increase in the numbers of people testing positive
for Covid-19 in recent days is a stark reminder that the virus
is still very prevalent in our community and that it is the
responsibility of us all to take every reasonable precaution to
protect ourselves and our loved ones,” Health Minister Samantha
       Sacramento said.
       There's just one problem.
Gibraltar is the 'most vaccinated' nation on earth...
In fact, over 118% of Gibraltar's population are fully
vaccinated against COVID (above 100% due to jabs given to
Spaniards who cross the border to work or visit the territory
       every day).
Gibraltar is not alone in this 'mysterious' vaccine failure.
