I am going to publish a document in small chunks to emphasize
the info. It can be found in its entirety easy enough. But
that does not get it between your ears.
The Gentleperson's Guide To Forum Spies
COINTELPRO Techniques for dilution, misdirection and control of
a internet forum.
Technique #1 - 'FORUM SLIDING'

posted on a forum - it can be quickly removed from public view
by 'forum sliding.' In this technique a number of unrelated
posts are quietly prepositioned on the forum and allowed to
'age.' Each of these misdirectional forum postings can then be
called upon at will to trigger a 'forum slide.' The second
requirement is that several fake accounts exist, which can be
called upon, to ensure that this technique is not exposed to the
public. To trigger a 'forum slide' and 'flush' the critical post
out of public view it is simply a matter of logging into each
account both real and fake and then 'replying' to prepositined
postings with a simple 1 or 2 line comment. This brings the
unrelated postings to the top of the forum list, and the
critical posting 'slides' down the front page, and quickly out
of public view. Although it is difficult or impossible to censor
the posting it is now lost in a sea of unrelated and unuseful
postings. By this means it becomes effective to keep the readers
of the forum reading unrelated and non-issue items.[/quote]

A lot of that was happening on the Diner. It puts RE and I in a
tough spot. We want forum activity but we don't want to be
another brain dead rant alley where morons go to spout nonsense.
I want this place to be useful and give people who come here a
good experience. An airhead free zone.
When he was at the Diner I never split a post thread. Hamish in
his other identities did a lot of Forum Sliding. Hamish tried a
slide here and I split his first unrelated post into a new
thread and gave it an appropriate title. I did not delete it.
That was enough for him to delete all his posts and his
membership here.
I am happy he saved me the trouble.

The first of the prolific forum sliders on the Diner was
Futilitist, also known colloquially as F-Bomb. He didn't even
need to preposition posts either,, he simply bombarded the forum
daily with dozens of idiotic posts, pushing every other POV and
topic off the list of recent posts. Ashvin,aka Watson pulled
the same routine, although at least he was intelligent. That of
course made him even more dangerous though.
In both cases I invented means of getting them off the list
without deleting posts, creating buried forums that did not
appear in the recent post list. Eventually I quit that
subterfuge and just deleted the fucking shit. Maintaining a
principle of "Free Speech" simply costs too much. lol.

Technique #2 - 'CONSENSUS CRACKING'

disinformation with real facts and linked postings, you can then
'abort' the consensus cracking by initiating a 'forum
slide.'[/quote]

over it.
Getting everybody with as brain (not saying how good the brain
is, just saying that people have one) stuck in idle
contemplating if it came from a lab and what does that mean is a
great way to sideline the public. The goal does not have to
convince, just confuse. That is just as effective because you
only have so much time in a day and confusion has you
neutralized and possibly behaving as an unwitting ally.

This guide has been copied all over the internet and the
original source is from Vault 7 I believe. It was gleaned from
a 5-eyes government document and a typo is now repeated all over
the internet every time it is copied. A lot of people have
picked up the guide. A lot of people with very low readership
so repeating it is a good thing. But could people please use
their own big brains and fix obvious typos and unfinished
revisions. Where I fixed it the meaning and original lack of
meaning is very clear.
The idea is you crate a patsy that appears sympathetic to an
opposing view. Then you beat your patsy in debate.

You should capitalise on all that celebrity, do some
endorsements, appearances, merchandise. A car commercial where
you have your head out the window in the wind, growl at a
Cadillac. Then leap out and chase it, before marking ownership
on the wheel of a Lincoln Town Car with Kdog emblem, could work.

Yesterday I came and found this thread was locked. Only Admins
