I actually have functional clothing that works for me has taken
a lot of experimentation.

More tonight, but seriously, this was what it was like. A big
board room, 9 guys facing me around a big horseshoe table with
microphones, me at a table at the focus also with microphone and
9 carefully crafted questions where I had to answer in about 3
minutes each, for an interview designed to last total 30
minutes. Have you ever given a Legal Deposition? That was what
this was.

Alright, Part II.
Besides the Legal & Official setup for this interview, it was my
first time in more than a quarter century going face-2-face with
the "Suits".

The guys in upper management who have as Uniform a Jacket & Tie.
They are a Breed Apart, and they make no sense, in the words of

It was to say the least, WEIRD. I could not read these people
at all. I have NO idea how I did in this
"interview"/cross-examination.
It is however, DONE, now I just wait for the Thick Letter or the
Thin one.

Likely they are scared as fluck to reject you. Your cripple
status makes them think you will sue them for a million bucks
when you are not picked. They are looking for a skeleton in the
closet to quiet you with. They are afraid you will have them
for lunch. Likely the FBI will pony something up to help out
with their blackmail. Whatever is given to suits by suits will
be regarded as true.

Some, not many do not consider the pursuit of pleasure to be the
most important thing in life.
Yesterday I drove by a hole where a mall is being replaced by a
giant apartment building. Two enormous red cranes rose up over
the road at opposite sides of the hole. From the cranes
suspended on a weighted line were two huge American flags. They
were thirty feet or so in size.
The cranes were beautiful, freshly painted and the Stars and
Stripes bright and clean. The effect was chilling. Superman
red against a Superman blue sky. Nuremberg must have been this
way. Burning man is this way.
Dominating raw power in a display hundreds of feet high that
humbled everyone passing by.
As I experienced the chill I thought that maybe we live only to
maintain our shit when the depravity of the ignorant and
powerful assault our being.
It could be. Character is our only possession.

I bet you also got answers to the burning questions of what the
gig involves and pays.
In any case you needed to tell them you are passionate about
transitioning to renewable energy, also keeping it reliable and
affordable, whether you believe that's possible or not. If you
were to say anything about achieving it by having the hardware
on the building, you would need to qualify that by saying it is
still owned and metered by the lektricompany.
These days they don't always contact you to tell you if you
didn't get it. The more, for want of a better word "menial" the
work, the less likely they bother telling you. It will be in
your email if they do.

I agree with you 100%. My status as an Official, Goobermint
Certified Cripple protects me under the ADA ( Americans with
Disabilities Act). They FLICK with me, and trust me I go
STRAIGHT to the ACLU, and trust me again, they would eat up this
case. It's a beauty that would get a lot of publicity.
I also have such a Squeaky Clean record, there is NOTHING they
can legitimately find as a Skeleton in my Closet. No Felonies,
no Misdemeanors, no Prison Time, no Domestic Violence, No DUIs,
NADA. Hell, I only have about 3 traffic tickets in 50 years
behind the wheel, and 2 of them were bullshit. I was
Fingerprinted around age 30 when i was considering joining the
NYPD as a career change, and have had regular background checks
since around 2000, when USAG started requiing them every year
for coaches. There just is NOTHING there.
So it is now close of Bizness on Friday, still nothing. I will
call next Tuesday if nothing shows in my email.

me. Did you ever hear back from the twins in Las Vegas? The
story of you teaching them to play "the mermaid and the sunken
treasure chest" is legend.
