History: Kivoland has been a country for as far back as most
historians can remember. Ancient legends dictate the founding of
the first kingdom by a legendary Chief, Wyldadlsav. The kingdom
was relatively stable for hundreds of years afterwards. This
stability led to the colonization of the island of Pryzklad. War
came, however, when the great nations of -whatever the hell
mobius is called- and Estovasia began their rivalry. Mobiusland
were generally on good terms with the Kivs, but the domineering
Estovasia kept Kivoland in constant skirmish. Finally, Estovasia
launched an all out of invasion of Kivoland, culminating in the
assassination of King Sobieslaw the Great, who was the only
resemblance of order for the Kivs. With the death of their king,
the remaining nobles fought for their claim on the throne, none
won, however, as the hordes of Estovasia brutally finished their
conquest.
For over 400 years, the Kivs remained under control of the
Estovasians, bitterly resenting their overlords and occasionally
revolting, which always ended in failure. In 1830, the Great
Rebellion occurred. Marshal Dakowski, educated in Mobiusland
took the reigns of the rebellion and vowed to liberate all of
Kivoland. At first, the rebellion was a success, Estovasian
garrisons quickly capitulating to the mass of Kivs. However,
Estovasia would not let their territory fight back so easily. In
a large offensive, the Estovasians crushed the largely untrained
Kivish army, spelling an end to the rebellion. Dakowski took the
remainder of his followers into the mountains, harrassing
Estovasians wherever they went. Eventually, however, he was
captured and executed publicly. Thus created a martyr that every
Kiv then and now holds respect to. Peace reigned for another 60
years, until finally, a Great War came yet again. Estovasia, in
an effort to retake their eastern lands, led an invasion of
Mobius. The war was fought mainly on Kivoland soil though,
resulting in huge bloodshed and a mass migration to Pryzklad.
The remaining Kivs rallied around Kildunski, a commander in an
Estovasian garrison forced who turned against his former master
and fled to the mountains. From there he launched a guerrilla
campaign against the Estovasian forces, with moderate success.
When the Estovasians sacked Crakuv as revenge for the
destruction of a garrison force, Kildunski responded with an
expedition into Estovasian territory, culminating in the the
complete slaughter of multiple villages and towns. The
Estovasians did not punish him, however, as the war was finally
ended, with Kivoland being granted its own independence;
something it hadn't had for over 400 years.
With the end of the war, elections were held, with the liberals
on the Pryzklad island ultimately winning against the
mainlanders, who backed the veteran Kildunski. As a token for
his service, the new government offered Kildunski command of the
Mainland Armies, which he promptly accepted. When asked to come
to Karchava to swear an oath to the new government, however, he
refused. Instead taking his new army and seizing the capital.
The civilian government remained in shock, as their few soldiers
defected to the war hero, and proclaiming him Grand Marshal of
the Republic. In present day, Kildunski has centralized his
power, and leads a firm isolationist stance on the world stage,
with an open hostility to Mobius and especially Esovasia.

Greetings from Zverskograd,
As the acting head of the Provisional Government of Zverskograd,
I, Sofiya of the Voronin Dynasty, would like to humbly request
an exchange of embassies between our two nations, in an effort
to open an official diplomatic channel between our countries.
The Empire of Ryudinia has been dissolved and replaced with the
Provisional Government of Zverskograd, but we believe it would
be simpler for both parties if the previous embassy of the
Empire were to be reused for these purposes.

It is to my knowledge that embassies are already in place, as we
have them with all open nations. We will set up another one, in
any case.
