Calling all poets?

Roses are red,
violets are blue,
daffodils yellow,
blooming in the meadow,
life was a dream,
smooth like ice cream,
death from the sky,
innocence dies,
poems that rhyme,
time after time,
cannot describe,
the day that I died,
yet time wears on,
dawn after dawn,
and when the flowers die,
here I shall lie,
when the war ends,
can we be friends,
WARNING: Anyone dissecting this poem for meaning will be shot on
sight

I have seen many things.
Though, probably none as painful as the ones you are going
through.
Nothing is more painful for me than watching someone tear
themselves apart.
Each unchecked cut tearing out the stitches I so carefully
placed there, each tear a tear in the very fabric of your
existence, resistant of all the people who say that your not
fine "I am fine" you say over and over.
How is it so easy to lie?
The jigsaw puzzle you are is falling apart, piece by piece.
I struggle to pick them up, I fear I am losing pieces of you
that I am never get back.
I never wanted to be the hero...
We are both dangling from this cliff in need of saving, but only
one of us can be saved.
I am in this boat, struggling to stay afloat on the unsettled
waters, as yet another storm approaches. God I hate the ocean.
You say that there are plenty of fish in the sea, and that's
true.
But there is only one fish like you.
You are an endangered species, on the brink of extinction, and
you don't care.
Your will for survival has been lost, the cost of losing your
puzzle pieces.
I don't sleep, for the fear I'm going to lose a piece of you
that I can never get back.
Insomniac, hope I don't crack under the pressure of this world,
under the weight of keeping my promises.
I just want to sleep.
I hate to see you growing this way, but I can't help but feel
that I am growing the same.
You are a fragile thing, and now you've started to shatter.
You're a wine glass on the edge of life and death, so close to
falling, to shattering, and you wish it upon yourself.
Do we hold you back?
You say you are in pain, and that you wish it would go, and
that's why you tried to fall off of the edge.
But we held you back.
Do you still suffer, despite being alive now?
Because I do.

Why Time Exists
Time exists,
to help people understand,
that they only have,
a little bit of it left.
We are reminded of it constantly,
but we always forget,
that we are running out of it.
Why hearts exist
Hearts keep our blood moving,
pumping slowly.
Hearts keep us alive,
the repeated beats tell us that,
we are still here.
Hearts tell us how to love.
They tell us that,
she,
is the one.
And one day,
our hearts will stop,
and our blood won't move,
our hearts won't beat,
and we won't love.
Freaking Idiot Butthole of a Person Doesn't Know How to Treat
People
You don't think about how we,
might feel
when you speak lowly of things we
have gone through
You think that you are of more importance than
us, who mark our skin because people like
you, say that
we, are not good enough
We can control how we cope.
We can't control what we feel.
You can control what you say.
You can't control what we feel.
We can't control what you say.
We can't control how you say it.
You can't control what we say,
about the things you said,
that made us feel,
that way,
that makes us want to make you feel,
that way.
Now do you see,
how we feel?
Liars
my grades lie,
I'm smart where it counts
my friend's lie,
I'm good where it counts
My words lie,
I'm not okay
But not my creations.
They show you my heart

Heartbeats
We are the people who wish to die
Because nobody taught us to live.
And there are other people who think like me,
I can hear their heartbeats.

Earth
Is our
home
our only safe
haven
Keeping us shielded
from
The deep infinite
darkness
even as we do our
best to
slowly and gradually
come
closer and closer
to
Killing our

This is not a Haiku. The rhythm for a haiku is 5 syllables, 7
syllables and 5 syllables again. The second line is 9 syllables.
You are a disgrace XD

Forest
A quiet rustle -
From the ever changing brush -
As the wind flies by....
Icicles
They hang up above
Spiked crystals of winter
While they slowly melt.
Shadows
Alone in the dark.
Shadows creeping silently
As the night goes by
Ice Skater
She glides across the ice,
in the cold, frigid air.
I bet she’s really nice.
I hope to meet her out there.
I gather up my courage,
to do whatever it takes,
I run inside,
and grab a pair of skates.
Back outside I go,
to meet her,
as it begins to snow.
