Swift is Correct here, a Sniper is not a rifle, its a style, if
you use a Sniper rifle but act like a assault, then you are
assault, Knowing when to and when not to pull the trigger will
determine how long you last in a game. A Ghillie is a Sniper's
best friend because as Swift says it will brake up the human
figure giving it a more natural shape causing you to be seen
less on the field, if used right then you can go a entire game
without ever being spotted. if used running around taking unsure
shots, your not going to be considered a good Sniper...... Now I
kinda want to keep my sniper rifle lol, what you intend on doing
is not wrong, but it is more for a Urban environment, but in the
woods, not being seen at all makes you a undetectable threat
that will scar the enemy, I know when ever I play against a
Sniper I am scared because they can not only see me from afar,
but they can take me out before I even spot them, and that is
the worst feeling to have on the field.

I used to use just a BDU's and a bonnie hat and I did great in
the games, because I stay at a distance and take shots that I
know will freak out the enemy team by like killing their
commander. I like just running BDU's do to you can save money
and also its something different from every other sniper you see
today on the field. The one of the shemaghs will wrap around my
face and the other around my neck. Also I can get tan knee pads
and gloves. But if he wants to run a ghillie thats fine with me,
but I just don't like ghillie that much.
A quick tip is listen to who is giving orders to their team and
go for him, because it will send them into a panic and also wait
for the medic to try and heal him and kill the medic also.

i agree with predator and i have gone tho a whole game
without geting spotted and still geting a few kills
another thing if u do everthing right u can shoot the person and
he has no idea whats happening i have hit a guy and it didnt
call hit cuz he had no idea what happened he thought a stick or
something hit him the i hit a diff guy then that guy called his
hit the group started panking thats when i left they started
firing randomly
(not trying to sound like im bragging but its just somethings
that happened to me)

if your good enough to not be spotted with BDUs (I have done it)
then feel free, a player should use what he feels comfortable
with... But I don't think we will need basic Sniper training >.>
we all know our shit it would seem, the other Sniper on the team
Is Cougar.. maybe you could be his partner Roach, he needs one,
but he also knows what he is doing, hell he is a better sniper
then me lol so a good Sniper pair would be helpful. If I can;t
get rid of my sniper it will be my back up weapon.. you know for
that games that I can't get em up close, take em with stealth ;)

In one game I killed a whole team, because I sat at the top of a
hill in the shadows. They had to cross a creek and I picked them
all off when they were trying to cross the creek. It comes down
to not completely depending on the ghillie, but on your skill as
a sniper. I loved sniping, but my rifle was getting a little
beat up and a friend offered me some money and I sold it to him.
Then I owned a 50 cal. which was crazy heavy, but I owned that
for a week and then traded it back to the person. I know that it
comes down to the way you play, but I just don't want to use a
ghillie suit do to heat in the summer. I have tried to use a
ghillie suit in the summer and I almost pasted out from the
heat. I just don't want to use a ghillie and I have nothing
against the ghillie suit, because it has a purpose, but I
wouldn't use it for that purpose, because I like to move up with
my team, because they support me and I support them.
