Greetings and salutations. I am Ragnarok, commander of Vanguard.
I noticed that both our teams are going "civilian" at operation
Ripsaw, so I thought I'd take a minute and say hello. Our team
generally plays at Warrior Village in Poland (ME), but from time
to time we venture out (MSAF and Smokestack). Our team consists
of 9 regulars and 7 recruits right now. Look forward to playing
with you guys.

Well thank you very much for the polite intro, There are only 3
reasons why I don't play at the village and that is because of
the semi auto restriction's, age limit and price of play. I look
forward to hearing from my team about how they performed beside
you and I hope to be allies in the future. We should discuss
further future team play and training operation's it would be
nice to train against another team that know's what they are
doing.

As far as play at Warrior Village, there are two types of play.
One is the open to the public game, in which those semi-only
rules and odd restrictions are posted (although I don't believe
they are actually used). The second is Team Only games, which
run non-stop three hours (sort of mini-ops). Team games are
fully auto, eye protection is at the discretion of the player,
and game play is more akin to the Spartan field. The three hour
game is points based with three bases and 4 to 5 mission
objectives to capture points. I've counseled the owners to push
this aspect of the field in their advertisements, but I think
most of the Maine Airsoft community is still grousing about
those initial rules they posted. It's $10 for the Team Games,
which is steep, however Dirk over at the Smokestack is looking

Great to see more team interaction :) did't knoe about your team
so this is pretty awesome we will be working together come the
upcoming op, Look forward to playing with you guys, and I was
planing on making a trip to Warrior village to check it out,
heard good and bad but I will check it out first hand. (P.S I
love your callsign, I'm a fan of mythology and am curently
studying up of Nordic mythology, so your callsign apeals to me)

Their general admission games are $5 a game or $20 for a day.
The Team game is $10 for three hours. Since you guys are an
established team, I would only recommend the team game. They are
very flexible and I'm sure they would host other team game
formats.

Thanks Predator, I crack up when people try to figure the call
sign out. I think part of the bad rep Warrior Village got, was
mostly based on their initial opening (rules fiasco). I have
seen a few groups not adjust to the non-stop 3 hrs team game,
(probably not expecting it first time out).

People just fail to understand it is still a rather new feild
and they are still adjusting trying to make it both safe while
apealing to the verteran crowd. From what I knew the owners
didn't know to much about Airsoft rules when they opened the
field so they went with what info they had. Can't blame them fro
doing what they thought was the best method. and as you said it
looks like they are being flexible with the more put together
teams.
Yeah I would imagen people wouldn't get it right off, the name
is simple enough to pronounce but comes off weird if they don't
know what the word is, means or comes from.
