Exactly my thought's on this Assault is where to start otherwise
you get sick of it fast and feel let down and want to quit.

Unless your Cougar and just loves sniping a lot more, even when
he had is M14 he was still a sniper lol, but Chappie is right,
if you want a good sniper rifle, expect to put in a lot of money
into it.

Im a sniper and its not something u can practice to be good at
one thing u really have to be able to do is stay in 1 spot for
possibly hours for me i never get bord but if u do then u wont
make a good sniper and u have to be able to sneak around good
before i have touched (knife kill) someone from behind.

well you can practice it, its just not easy, learning
concealment, stealth, and patience with make you a damn good
sniper, as well and being able to make a shot count, and as I
have said before and will continue to stress, knowing when you
fire and when to sit back and shut up is a very important trait
to have :p but Swift, you and Cougar would make a good par, he
to is a good sniper. and if there is one thing better then a
good sniper, its a par of good snipers.

i mean it in a way that some people cant snipe i have had a
friend who had tryed and u just cant train him at all
when i say this i mean that a lot of people can but a few cant
like him. and yes u can practice some of it but some must come
naturally

Agreed, having the natural ability to be capable on learning for
to do things a sniper does it easier then someone who can not,
Naturally I am quite and seem to move fast without drawing
attention. I snuck up behind Wolf packs team, they didn't notice
till I was standing right behind them, I could have taken them
out.. but I just wanted to know if they had seen my team lol I
was also laying prone beside Op For and was moving up with their
team and they didn't notice. I had a clear shot at Spartan
assault. basically, alone Its hard to find me, and as you said
Swift, its something that is naturally there and thats what
makes a good sniper great. I plan on getting a new Sniper rifle
sometime next year, a Bar 10 or M28. so if I feel like going
ghost.. well I will lol

i have snuck behind a team and i shot the leader twice and he
didnt call hit! i was so pissed and it was clear that i hit him
i have gotten right up to someone and knifed killed him

thats the down side of being a sniper, with little people around
on your team, they like to not call there hits.. pisses me off

this is now off topic now so before u try to be a sniper try to
snipe with ur aeg and take shots at like once every 10 sec to
simulate time to cock the gun and reaim and if u like i know
where u can get a ghillie if u want a homemade one

I can make a homemade one if you decide sniper, but I would have
to charge you the cost of material, but they tent to work better
then store bought because they better match your environment.
and as Swift said, you can practice the feel with a AEG by
taking a few seconds in between shots to simulate the pulling
back of a bolt... thats about it for advice I can give.
