okay now that it is under the right area I can give you the best
advice I can. I snipers role is simply difficult to a exstent,
they see little action, but can be a valuable team member,
keeping a low profile and radio contact is key. knowing when to
pull the trigger and when to sit back and let the enemy pass is
one of the best things to remember while sniping, your main task
would be reconnaissance. Don't try to be mister hero, make sure
you know how manny targets are around before firing, good
example was the last Op I was at, me in the bushes. my team just
got taken out and there were around 15 enemies, I didn't move,
didn't fire, just stayed till it was clear then got the hell
out and searched for my team (never found them till the end of
the match). point was, I knew I wouldn't have gotten messed up.
Assault, you are with your team, you do as the leader says, and
you work as one unit to take out the enemy. you will see more
action then a sniper, but will me more likely to be hit. but
there are more then just assault and Sniper, there is Support
gunner, medic, Operator, CQC, Grenadier, ect. the choice is your
based on how you prefer to play. I will be giving up sniping but
if you choose it, I can still train you if you would like.

However Predator you are completely right on both of those MOS's
but Adskiem you have to keep something in mind in the role of
Assault you will be put in high pressure situations with much
ridicule if something isn't done right when you go to your bug
out guy for reference on objectives which will probably be me
until others get more confidence and experience. Sniper on the
other hand has to follow very loos fitting objectives to
accomplish a main goal. Just as hard physically but takes a lot
more planning ahead and a lot less split second decisions
making.

Assult is what everyone should start with. You learn the game,
watch others play and decide from there what you want to do. If
you get an assult rifle and gear it is MUCH easier selling that
gear for sniper gear if you choose so later on. I say be
assult for a few games and trainings, see how you like it, and
if you still want to be a sniper, try that out. Nothing is
perminent when u first start.
I am assult. Started assult, went sniper and now assult again. I
like completing objectives with my speed and cardio. I'm a good
reflexed shot and love being assult.
Hope this helps.

Yeah do what you want man. You can always change specs later
down the road. Snipers are crazy at their jobs. Very helpful and
a good sniper team would be a good adition for Gemini. Assult
guys like me need direction. Lol

You could always play both roles and be cougars spotter and
assault all his oncoming Tango's that get to close.

Like Jericho, I started assault, then went sniper and now I am
going back to assault, I love sniping, the feel of being a
absolute predator on the battlefield. but when it comes down to
it, I like being right in the action. and with sniping, your not
going to be in manny situations where the only way to hit a
target is with a sniper rifle. but as said by others, I will say
it as well, start with a assault rifle, then see if you can't
borrow a sniper for a game, try the two out and go with the one
you like best. and as Jericho also stated, its much easier to
sell a assault rifle then it is to sell a sniper rifle.

I am not part of the team but a bit of advice that I would like
to give is. Always start as a assault/ rifleman the reason I say
this is because the sniper role tends to be very boring at times
and people get anxious, when you get anxious is when you mess
up. Also starting out as assault will put you in these nerv
racking situations which will help you a lot when you become a
sniper. There is no other feeling then when you are all alone
and a group of enemies is coming down a trail and one of them
looks right at you. As with any MOS there is a lot to learn on
either of these positions, just be advised that if you want to
be a sniper and a good sniper at that you WILL need to spend a
lot of money.
I am a sniper myself, and I have spent close to $600 on my gun,
upgrades, and replacement parts. But I also own a dboys scar
that has upgrades in it. So again just some things to know,
being a sniper requires a lot of patience, money, and nerv. You
will need a lot of training, and an awesome spotter. Half of my
team is trained to be a marksman at the least, and they all know
a little bit about being a spotter, but their are only 3 of them
that are actually trained.
