Military Future?

Hey guys, I'm starting this thread so that we may get a little
more insight on team members who plan on the Military as their
future. I for one and going to College then the Marines.
Reason for wanting to join: Most of my family background has
been Military, I have had family who has fought in all wars on
more then one side. My family Crest is the Military symbol and I
am very proud of my heritage as well as a pure patriot of the
United States and would gladly serve and die for her.
What I plan for a Military role: I plan of the Force
Reconnaissance, though my chances are slim to become Special
Operation, there is no job in the world I would like more,
reason is because I WANT to fight, I want that heat of battle,
the life or death situation where any moment could be my last
because I feel if I'm going to die It damn well better be for
something. nobody joins the Special Operation or Special Forces
unless they want to fight, unless they are ready to die.
Life after the Marines: If I do make it as Spec Ops then I plan
on serving until I have to retire then do what all ex Spec Ops
are trained to do... kill, join a PMC and continue the fight.
That should help anyone who want's to know more about my
personality and future plans understand me a little better.
Please if you have Military plans, share with the team to help
us understand your goal in life as a Military man/woman

I plan on joining the Air Force right out of high school and try
and become a EOD tech until I have to retire and then I would
come back to the states and try and become a bomb tech in like
virginia, because it is my home state.
My family has been in the U.S. before it was the U.S. and my
family has fought in every war. My father was about to become a
navy seal, but he found out that he was diabetic and they kicked
him out, but before that he could have became a football player
in the NFL he was in college and there was a bunch of scouts
looking at him, but he didn't want to go into the NFL.
I like the Marines, but my brother joined he said that they try
and brain wash you. Also if you do join don't think that the
Marines do all the work, because they don't. I like the Air
Force, because they don't care what people say about them, but
they keep doing their job. People at my school make fun of me
for wanting to become a EOD tech in the Air Force, but I don't
let it get to me. The main reason why I want to join the EOD is
because I would rather die trying to defuse the bomb rather than
a group of people die, because I couldn't get couldn't get to it
fast enough.

The people who pick on you for wanting to become an Airforce
E.O.D need to sit back, shut up and learn a little something
about the effort of ALL branches. Marines do their part, they
are the first to deploy at a moments notice, but the Marine
would never get their job done without the combined efforts of
the Navy and Airforce, Even the Army does their parts, I am not
one to take sides when it comes down to which branch is better
because without one, the entire U.S Military system collapse. I
personally think you have a lot of bravery to go in to the E.O.D
Unit, defusing bombs that could go off any second, just as
deadly as a Marine on the front line, only your skill can keep
you alive. A good friend of mine is in the Airforce as a
aircraft mechanic and my "girl" friend is planing on going into
the Airforce as a combat photographer/documentary.

I have my future lined up to jump into the Navy for gun
smith/Armorer and after doing that for a few years and getting a
better handle on my weapons I plan on entering special forces.

^ Helpful tip.. You're chances of being a Seal are a lot higher
if you sign up for it before you ship off to boot camp, you will
get better bonuses if you make it and have a higher chance of
acceptance over others who didn't sign up will after boot camp.
Fun fact for the team :)
* There is only one Special Forces group in the U.S Military,
The U.S Army Green Beret. Navy Seals, Marine Force
Reconnaissance, Army Rangers, Air force TACP ect. are all
Special Operations. Similar to Special Forces but with two
different job classifications*

If I did join the military it would be the Scout Sniper which I
guess is a branch of the Marines. Personally I love the game of
cat and mouse the hunter and the hunted in a way that creates
patience for the perfect shot. Another reason I would preferably
do this branch because I like the idea of hiding out on a
mountain line or in the desert with only a partner (spotter)
with most likely little to none of real engagement of face to
face with the enemy.

Scout Sipers are found In the Marines, Army, and Seals, and they
are without a doubt a true warrior to fear, with weapons that
can kill you from 2.5 miles away (M200) or disable a tank with
one shot (M107, M82, AS50) I would suggest a Special Operations
Sniper, Recon, Ranger or Seal.
