       Sniping 101

I may be only 15 but I know a lot about sniping and still have a
lot to learn but here is a quick intro, feel free to edit me
First off; some new people will think that sniping is where you
get all the kills but that is not true at all. In truth sniping
will get you the least amount of kills but can help your team
greatly. As a sniper you spend 90% spying, gathering info,
recon, stuff like that and only 10% shooting. you will also be
spending most of your time doing nothing or slowly moving. If
you have ADHD dont do sniping.
Tactics: there are many that can be used, here are same basic
ones. #1 Make a team consisting of a sniper and spotter, #2
always have at least 2 escape paths, #3 when using a ghillie
stay low, crawl when near danger a walking bush is easly
spotted. There are soo many go to youtube and type in sniper
       tactics.
this is a really good saying for a sniper “A sniper isn't a man
in a ghillie with a sniper rifle its a playing style, until you
learn that you will never become one.' Another quick one is “one
shot one kill” But if you do not make the fist shot, take
another, no more then 2 before you move to a new location.
when sniping its best to take the safest path even if its the
longest. When working with a spotter the spotter should be about
10 to 20 feet in front of the sniper this is so if one gets
spotted the other either can get away or help, it also helps
consel more movement is key, the faster you move the more likely
you will get spotted so keep it slow and steady. I like to flank
the enemy but it can be dangerous if u get spotted because then
it's you vs everyone and when you are close or think you are
close to the enemy its a good time to crawl it also helps
conseal yourself. Now to talk about “taking the shot” there are
many ways some people say the best way is to inhale all the way
exhale ˝ way then shoot another way is when you completely
exhale to shoot in the time between breaths, that is what it
said in the us sniper Manuel. I like the us sniper way most when
u pull the trigger use the tip of your finger it doesn't really
matter in airsoft but that is the right way after you pulled the
trigger don't move, keep your vision down the scope to watch the
bb to see if you hit the target and its sort of like a follow
through and then breath (you can see the bb) if its a hit and
other enemies start looking get away but if they don't shoot
again never shoot more then 2 shots from one place if you miss
get away the person might get his buddies and go looking for
you. Be smart if you see a big group of people don't shoot let
them pass lots of times its better to let people get away then
give away your spot just for waring if u safety kill a person
and they didn't know u were there they may shoot you because the
were startled it has happened to me a bunch so you should have a
sidearm if you find a good spot you are going to be for a while.
I find it good to take out your sidearm and place it next to u
in case you need to use it fast, also when moving from place to
place you want to have your gun in shooting position at all
       time, not your sidearm.
things to try to avoid would be extra movement. I don't use a
bi-pod and you shouldn't unless you are a "sit and wait" kinda
player, all the extra movement might give yourself away, I just
rest it on the ground or in my hand
full facemask because you cant look down the scope
Avoid black gear, try to get either green or tan. The reason for
this is because almost nothing on the earth is solid black so it
stands out, even in the dark.
The glint of your scope can give you away so try getting a
sunshade and/or putting fish net over it
As for your gun, try to have it green or tan, even a blend of
natural colors would work, but not black and if you already have
a black gun get rifle wrap for it to brake up its color and
       shape.
Gear: A Ghillie. A Ghillie Suit's purpose is to Brake up your
figure, a lot of people would say to use camouflage you but its
not the best choice. The human figure is the most recognizable
shape to the human eye do to the fact it consists of shape
curves and unnatural shapes the ghillie helps mask that figure
making it harder to recognize. Then its about camouflaging you.
When going to get a ghillie, re-think it, instead make one
because they turn out better and blend in more cuz u can
customize it to your location. always add Natural vegitation to
your ghille before a match, that way you will not only have the
collors and broken up shape, but you will look like your part of
the field and be over looked at first glance look up on youtube
if you want to learn how to.
Face paint works better then a Balaclava
try to get green gloves, the pointer finger is the only one that
       should be fingerless
Pistol holster because having a side arm is a important asset,
being able to defend yourself in a close range situation will
       make you even more effective
       boots
Guns:a good high power rifle and a nice scope as for a sidearm
i have tryed a A.E.P. it doesnt work that well just get a GBB
Using net to shelter your snipers scope is key, no matter how
well hidden you are, if your scope reflexes in the sun, your
spotted. A ghillie wrap for your rifle will also brake up the
shape of it hence making it more difficult for the human eye to
       see.
Knowing when to pull the trigger and when to just sit back is an
important aspect of being a Sniper, if you are alone in hostel
territory surrounded by enemies, best guess is it would not be
smart to fire, instead report to your team. Numbers, location
and then anticipant their next movements. Locating who the Medic
and leader is would be a smart idea, taking out their leadership
and healer would cripple the team and send them into panic
(unless they are well trained) A sniper is a shadow, they sit
       back and observe.
Sniping is an art, something to master, and to become a skilled
soldier you must work to constantly improve, adapt, and
overcome, other wise you will not get far
"If you know yourself, and know your enemy, you need not fear
the result of 100 battles. If you know yourself but not the
enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat.
If you know neither yourself nor the enemy, you will succumb in
every battle. Hence to fight and conquer in all your battles is
not supreme excellence, supreme excellence consists of braking
       your enemies resistance without fighting"
Note* a ghillie is not required to be a sniper, it is just an
       added advantage in woodland environments
       Red =Predator
Note* I Predator will be the Sniping instructor in place of
Cougar for now, Swift is Jr. NCO for camouflage and tactics,
Roach is Jr NCO for movement and shooting
The 3 of us will be in charge of all Sniping training for any
recruits who wish to become betting in the Art of Stealth,
Marksmen, or to become a Sniper
